EXCEPTIONAL!! We love traveling and I try to provide the public with good, honest reviews. Our stay here was just like home away from home. Everything was top notch. We rented a two bedroom apartment and they provided us with everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, cutlery, paper towels, dish washer packs, dish lotion and the list goes on! Our unit had a stackable washer and dryer which was a plus! The decor of the overall place was very modern and stylish. If you're ever looking for a great place to stay, my recommendation is to go to this establishment. (A HOME AWAY FROM HOME!)👍

Great place for extended stay. Close to essential amenities such as food joints and most importantly right next to Super Walmart. Ample parking and safe environment. Highly recommended.

A home away from home. Literally. The front desk people treated us kindly, fairly. They all answered us in business-like manner. The location is near superb restaurants. Pizza, Indian food, Asian gusto, Jamaican favorites, ice cream, bars, 7 course meal, beef grills, South American dishes- in less than 15 mile radius. Walmart is less than a mile away. The place is clean and secure. What else to say?

Excellent staff....rooms super comfortable for a longer term stay especially!!!Full kitchen and washer dryer....they have been amazing to accommodate our fluid plans that seem to change much more often than is comfortable! Grateful they provided even salt and pepper to round out the details!! Definitely a top place to stay in the area. Also, in the two bed unit...one bath has a tub...and the other a walk in shower...so flexible for many needs!!!

I recently stayed at WaterWalk and would definitely recommend. The staff at check in were helpful and kind. My room was clean, and I appreciated having all the amenities I would in an apartment, like a kitchen, full size refrigerator with ice maker, washer/dryer, living room, etc. Given the comparative pricing to a traditional hotel, I felt like this was a much better option as it seemed more like a true living space. The location also has ample parking and many food options less than a 5 minute drive away.

Jacqueline truly is a gem that makes a stay at WaterWalk RTP as convenient as possible. She goes above and beyond to ensure that your stay at this amenity-rich hotel (more like apartment) is ideal and I am truly thankful. I’ve already booked my next stay here.

Evelyn is super awesome. It was really late and I wanted a snack. Well, the new vending machine took cash only. I was upset and she must have seen it on my face. She suggested Sheetz through Doordash. Even gave me directions to the gas station. Her service was above and beyond. It has been that way the last two times we have visited.

We had stay in the area for 30 days following my husband’s transplant surgery. The location was convenient to everything we needed. 15 minutes from Duke for his follow up appointments. The staff was so helpful and always had a smile on their faces. They were always quick to make sure my husband was doing ok. The full kitchen and in room washer and dryer were a much needed amenity. We didn’t require much from housekeeping but when we needed something they were always willing to help. We will definitely opt to stay here again if needed.

We stayed here for 4 weeks and we have absolutely loved it. The thing that made our stay so special is how kind, welcoming, and helpful the staff are. We have found everyone to be wonderful but wanted to give particular mention to JacQueline and Evelyn for both going out of their way to help us and for treating us like family. They truly made our stay memorable and we appreciate everything they have done.

A plus is that the 2 times I've needed aid from the maintenance department a friendly employee named Jay helped both times in a timely manner. I've stayed at other places and sometimes it takes hours but he showed up in less than an hour to resolve my problem with the toilet and fridge.

Me and my daughter came in during the power outage in North Durham. We had a rocky start when sat in the lobby with six other guests for over an hour because we couldn't find anyone. In my opinion an angel came into work early. She was very apologetic and sympathetic to our needs. This angel reassured my daughter she was in a safe place and everything was going to be okay. Evelyn went out of her way by checking in on my daughter before she went to bed and bought her up some hot cocoa. Evelyn is a super star and the only reason why a lot of us that was waiting didn't leave.

My fiance and I stood here for 4 days with our 2 baby's (dogs) in August 2022 The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. Oliy an Number One love receiving doggie treats. we have just made another reservation for the month of November. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting.

Room was very clean, Washer and Dryer in the room, dishes in the room and clean, Staff was very nice and helpful. The only downfall was the person above us was stomping through the room all day and up until about 1am. After I called it stopped. Other than that I will stay again. Actually considering moving into one of the apartments.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay! They went above and beyond to make sure everything was clean, safe, and enjoyable. The only problem we came across was a clogged toilet. The problem was resolved quickly by Jay. Such a friendly employee! Aside from the problem we had with the toilet we have not since had any issues. The washer and dryer are definitely a plus!

I will definitely be coming back to stay! All of the staff from the time of arriving to leaving, where so attentive and friendly. Upon arriving I noticed that a bulb in the bathroom was not working. Within less than 20 minutes I was greeted by Jay a maintenance employee who was so friendly and answered all my questions. I'm accustomed to staying in air bnb's but I would highly recommend staying here. Thank you WWR!

We think that this location is one of the best kept housing secrets in the RDU area. period.

I can't speak to the hotel side here, but I definitely agree with the other reviewers in regards to the staff: everyone has been extremely helpful, friendly and very sensible people. Though I have not interacted much with Mike, he always looks cheerful and approachable. Katrina, our leasing agent, was always extremely responsive and professional with all of our questions during the application process, and went above and beyond to accommodate my partner and I during our move-in process from out of state (me) and from Greensboro (my partner): she allowed us to deliver some of our belongings to the reception area before the start of our lease which really helped us streamline our move-in and we are forever grateful for this. It having been my first time moving anywhere out of my home state and starting a job less than a week after moving in, a lot of things could've gone south, so to have her support on helping us figure out what documents we would need to prove we met the income requirement and being able to hit the ground running was nothing short of a lifesaver.

Aside from one incident with our freezer, we haven't had any issues to complain of during our stay here. The few times (in regard to the freezer) we've had to submit maintenance orders, the maintenance staff were quick to act and very detailed, leaving sticky notes on our fridge to let us know what they had fixed and suggestions for how to prevent them in the future. Maintenance comes in regularly (and warning emails are sent out prior to expect them) for pest control, for cleaning air vents and the cleaning staff are very good about cleaning the common areas (hallways, stairs, and elevators) though what another reviewer said about some tenants not being respectful and leaving trash in some common areas or not returning carts to their designated area is true. I do not think it fair to fault the staff for this, but I do hope to see more strict guidelines for some residents regarding usage of common space.

My partner and I signed a 12-month lease for a 1 bed 1 bath unit which is admittedly small for two people, but what it lacked in space it made up for with amenities in spades: firstly, ALL UTILITIES ARE INCLUDED IN RENT! I cannot understate how much of a GODSEND not having to worry about AC electricity bills throughout the humid, unforgiving summers is. Secondly, all the equipment here is top-of-the-line. While a lot of other apartments claim to have newly renovated furniture and equipment, Waterwalk provides a freezer unit with a built-in ice machine, a deep-walled sink with garbage disposal, generous granite countertop space (both in the kitchen and in the bathroom!) and a CONVECTION stove-top, the last of which is so easy to clean and made eating out harder to justify. Added to this, their showers, unlike many in the area, are walk-in showers rather than tub-shower combos, thus their drains are one-piece drains that don't get hair clogged in them and allow for easy hair cleanup. Thirdly, our bedroom window came equipped with grey blackout curtains which are extremely effective in blocking out sunlight for when we would (admittedly too often) sleep in. These last few features don't seem significant at face value- but you will definitely miss them if you're without them. Fourthly, we have had no hiccups (outages, speed issues) with our internet and for the cable TV junkies out there: they include DirectTV PREMIUM free! If all of this isn't enough: you also get access to a well-lit small walkway with a grill (for dog owners), 24/7 access to the lobby (and free coffee!), a regularly before-and-after-use cleaned fitness center, and all of your packages are held safe at the reception.

If I could move Waterwalk closer to my workplace and keep my current monthly rent rate I would absolutely renew. But: for those fortunate enough to afford their new rates and work in the area, you will NOT regret renting here!

100% recommend! I am relocating out of state and had checked into an Airbnb house for my last two weeks in Raleigh. Unfortunately, the house was unsuitable (unsafe and not at all clean) and I needed to come up with a plan B in a hurry. WaterWalk to the rescue. So glad I found this place.

Super appreciate them being dog-friendly for a reasonable fee compared to many hotels. Dedicated dog potty area and plenty of tree-lined and well-lit sidewalks.
OTHER
- Very clean. Comfortable furniture. Nice kitchen tools (pots, pans, dishes, etc)
- Near tons of great food options (Indian within walking distance, yum).
- Feels super safe
- Washer and dryer IN THE ROOM <3
- Walmart across the street for anything you forgot to pack

Very satisfied with my stay here! Staff and Maintenance team were phenomenal. The hotel is beautiful, and you couldn't ask for a better location. Not only I will come back for future stays, but I will also highly be recommending this hotel to friends and family! Thank you WaterWalk Raleigh RTP and your team for this amazing experience!
