BBQ is always good and the Ribs are done just right.! The baked beans are sweet as are the ladies taking our order. Definitely worth the 70 minute ride from Raleigh. Tip - just tell the staff what you want (create your own meal) and they will work out the fairprice. Don't be shy, taste it all!
There is a fair amount of seating inside, but it wouldn't be a bad Idea if you brought along some lawn chairs and sit outside.

Do not be turned off by exterior, this place is a hidden gem!! Every dish we ate was outstanding!! Never had cabbage so good, potato salad perfect and eggy, Mac n cheese like your grandmas! But star is perfectly cooked tender delicious meat!! Must go!

I just stopped and I got a side of shrimp. It was so well seasoned and good! Looking forward to try ing more dishes. Earnest was nice.

My first visit and I must say. The food and environment was great and professional. You have to check them out and try their daily specials.

First off. I'm a truck driver and it's not easy finding a place that has a good steak cooked perfectly and when I can. I make it my mission to get there. Sometimes I have to drop my trailer and other times I can park my whole rig at a location. This time I had to drop my trailer and bobtail(this is driving only the tractor without a trailer attached) to this location. I'm truly glad I did. The customer service is excellent. They are truly family people. Really friendly. And that steak I've been craving for a few weeks was well worth the wait. This pandemic has messed things up so it's been hard on us truckers to find a good eating location. And I highly recommend this place. Meal is perfect and the price is truly a welcome. So if your in the neighborhood or even passing thru. Stop ur yerself and bring in the family. Clean place, friendly folks and a great meal at a really good price.

Food was DEEEE-BO-LICOUS 😋! I had Pig tails, my daughter had wings, and my son had Brisket and we all enjoyed ALL of it. The MAC N CHEESE was our favorite. WE had to take some home because we couldn’t eat all of it, fair price for good groceries.

We recently had Gorhams cater for us, and the food was amazing! The fried chicken was perfect and the sides were delicious. Thank you!

Found Gorhams after a trip to the DMV and found the food and service to be excellent. I had great chicken and dumplings, collards and Mac and cheese. Nicely decorated for the small space and the food was in a glassed in hot bar which was great! Will definitely go back there again. Staff were very professional and attentive.

This is a great catering business. I called and ordered a deep fried turkey for Thanksgiving. I was going to pick it up on Saturday but due to a busy wedding schedule they forgot to have it ready on time. The owner Ernest, was so apologetic and made a point to deliver the turkey to my house on a day We both agreed on...Outstanding problem solving skills. As of today I have received a freshly fried turkey that is cooked to perfection! I have nothing but positive things to say about this business. As I told the owner, "Ernest, saved Thanksgiving!" *****stars all the way!

The Food, Customer Service, Dining Area and even the Restrooms were Top Tier! I ordered the Turkey BBQ Sandwich Combo with Fries and my Son had the Chicken Tender Combo with Fries. AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME!! This was my very first time eating here after hearing all of the Five Star reviews for the past year. They did not disappoint. I will be returning!

First time going there, so haven't tried alot from there but whst I had was good!

The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food is down home, soul food! The chicken tenders were amazing, Mac n cheese was delicious and the portion sizes are the best value for the price I've seen anywhere.

Wow ... Let me say that I checked out the place first in the afternoon and got my husband lunch . I received a text that the food was amazing and he wanted to get lunch there more often . He got the bbq pork sandwich with slaw , collards and rice with gravy . He came home and said hey wanna have Gorham for dinner !! So we returned that evening. We got 5 different meals .the food is outstanding and the portions are generous. Was full and very satisfied.i highly recommend going here for your next meal . The staff are so friendly and warm . We look forward to being considered regulars

First time eating here, was 10/10. I ordered the turkey bbq sandwich with slaw on it and a side of the Mac and cheese and a sweet tea ($9.63 with tax). Mac and cheese was very flavorful, and almost too hot to eat, the turkey bbq sandwich was very good, and all of this was served to me in less than 2 minutes from ordering. If you like sweet tea they have great tea here. I had to grab the banana pudding ($4.23 with tax) on my way out to cap off an amazing meal. Place appeared very clean inside, and staff was nice! I went to dogwood festival and I must say the chicken tender is the best tender I’ve ever had ! Absolutely delicious.

My sister and I stopped in on our way back from Raleigh and we purchase purchase pork chop plates with collards, macaroni and cheese, rice and cabbage. We also purchased a stew beef plate everything was delicious 😋. I can't wait to go back.

Very friendly staff and a clean warm place to eat. Food was great and cooked fresh. Very pleased with the service.
