Bamboo Garden II

This is my favorite local restaurant in Archdale! They have the best quality food of any Chinese restaurant we’ve ever been at. Their prices are so reasonable for large family orders and everything is always fresh and ready to go. We call in our order and always pick up at the drive-through. Lots of extra sauces and if you’re looking for brown rice you need to order their house specialty brown rice it cost a little bit more but it is so well worth it we’ve been happy with them for the last six years and recommend them highly!

I had always seen them but never actually went in. Until recently and I got to say .. I am upset I had not went any sooner. The buffet is amazing! They have a great variety of options, not only food, but desserts too.. not only the food is good but also a great, peaceful, quiet place to eat. I am definitely going back more often! Oh and their zodiac table mats ar fun to read!

The food we always get, General Tso's Chicken with rice, is Always Delicious!Service is always great!

This is am awesome restaurant. The buffet is not as big as some buffets but they concentrate on quality and others are more into quantity. Bamboo garden is better because the food is hot, fresh and delicious. The staff was also awesome. My waiter was very attentive to us. And he's a really cool guy. I give bamboo garden 2 thumbs up. Highly recommended

Classic Chinese American restaurant atmosphere.
Buffet was great, kept a simple menu, so quality is not to suffer.
Staff is very amiable and attentive.

We were passing through Archdale a little bit later than planned, and we were hungry. Crazy long day! Of the many choices around us, Chinese food sounded the best. This turned out to be a buffet.. which, honestly, could go either way, regardless of the time of day, right? Well this one went right!
The food smelled amazing (not the least bit 'tired' at 8:45pm), and while we were going down the line, the owner even asked if we'd like certain near-empty dishes replenished. (She brought out new small pans of lo mein and sesame chicken - 🤌 - and maybe a couple of others?) Beyond that, both our server and the owner were very engaging, helpful, and kind.
For the food.. the biggest surprise was the fried fish (whitefish). It was some of the "fluffiest" and tender fish I think I've ever eaten! Two other really tasty dishes were the shrimp and green beans and the butter shrimp, (and I'm super picky about shrimp). I went back for seconds on the butter shrimp and the fried fish.🤭
We are not in Archdale often, but when we find ourselves there again, I know where we'll be eating!

The food bar is not extensive, but what they have is very good and fresh. There is a variety. The staff are friendly.

Bamboo Garden has a buffet that is very good. Safety protocols are in place and stressed to patrons. Gloves are provided for use when handling utensils at the buffet. The wait staff takes your dirty plates away promptly. My tea was refilled promptly also. Multiple flavors of ice cream are also available as part of the buffet, but it is frozen hard as a rock.

Food was good but service sucked. Not once did I have a waitress come by my table. The one waitress who was supposed to wait on my table, was pregnant so she didn't do her job, lady working register was supposed to help her put, never saw her come out from behind the register, I drink was empty the last 5 or so minutes I was there. Never brought me my bill, had to tell them what I had when I paid.

Great atmosphere and great service. The bar is small but the food is fresh and not chewy or stale like it gets when it's been setting out too long

This place not only has great food but the scenery is really cool to soak in. I definitely recommend this place to all who enjoys great Asian dishes. Also, the staff are very kind and helpful. Shout out to Anthony!!!

Ever since the new owner and the new waitres this place is really made a change for the better they have really good food very good customer service I would recommend people to come back out and try bamboo garden again the new waiters name is Travis please give this place another chance

This is my go-to place when I am exhausted from work and need a great meal prepared exactly to my liking and done quickly. I've never been anything less than 100% delighted with my orders. I usually get take-out and love the drive-through window. Two of us can eat a huge meal, with Spring Roll appetizer, for $18.00. Mixed Veggies are especially delicious!

This place is a fixture of the Archdale/Trinity area. We go for the buffet. It is not the biggest, but it is the best. I particularly enjoy the Pepper Steak. It is delicious fresh, but if you go early for dinner, you can catch a pan that has been slow cooking since lunch...then it is unbelievable!
