The absolute best Lasagna soup we have ever had. Not made every day. But it is hands down very awesome. Love the grilled cheese with Bacon sandwiches. Great staff and service.

Great introduction to the Illinois Horseshoe “sandwich”- burger patty on toast, covered with waffle fries and cheese sauce! And Guinness on draft. I could only each half of this. We arrived nine minutes before closing time but they took care of us.

Very very good food.. Never ever had a bad or discouraging meal. Loved the horseshoe.. Burger and added bacon, onions and tomato and white cheese..
Fish and chips and corned beef and cabbage today.. great service !!!

04/18/24 the Lasagna soup is by far my favorite and is a must.

Our first time dining in at Doherty's and we enjoyed it very much. Our friends had a hamburger and Irish nachos. My husband and I had the shepherd's pie. I thought it was delicious, but my husband thought it needed salt. It comes down to personal preference, I guess. Oh, I forgot to add that they also had the roasted red pepper soup. It was delicious!

Great fish and chips. Nice atmosphere. Within walking distance of renovated downtown and across the street from a very cool mural.

Found this place by looking at the Google map. Great Irish pub with super friendly staff and awesome food. Great mix of choices, everything from a delicious steak to something more hangover friendly, such as a great burger and fries. It was definitely our favorite place in town during our long weekend visit. They were even nice enough to show Jake where the old bowling alley and machines were. Give this place a shot, you won’t regret it!!!

This is one of my favorite spots in Decatur! Great menu, beer selection, and service. Would highly recommend the Irish Nachos and a Guinness!

Predictably great food at reasonable costs. The last three filets have all looked like this (taken tonight; looks like a Ruth's Chris steak). Great salmon, great portobello bites.

Had a really nice dinner with my brother and his wife. Good food, great drinks and excellent service.

Food is always awesome, service has always been great. And it's a pretty laid back place to have a good time.

The best Reubens! Service was great n fast. It was very busy. My server was Brynn n she was the best.
Only downfall. I use a walker n there isn't ez access for handicapped.

Staff was very friendly, food was spectacular!! Will definitely be back, highly recommend the Rueben.

This place is so cool. It's like you're in Ireland. We went for their St. Patrick's Day celebration. The band was superb.

Irish nachos are always good .... but the Kentucky Mule was one of the best I've had!!! Thanks for being brave and staying open!!! I will be back to help support your local restaurant!!!

We were in the banquet room. We had snacks and drinks. The service was great. The room was perfect for our event.

Great lunch spot, get the Bookmaker! Service is fast, and the food is good.

I've started to go here more and more especially after I started ordered the bookmaker sandwich, shaved beef with swiss cheese served with au jus for dipping. The fries are amazing and we had a burger come out a little less done than we wanted and they fixed it with a fresh burger asap. Would of liked to get out drinks filled a little faster and the bill earlier but the food is great and she was very nice as usual.

I recently had my sons graduation party here. From the time I booked the venue, choosing what food I wanted catered to the night of the party, I had nothing but fantastic service! The food was amazing and the staff was beyond wonderful!! I would definitely recommend this place for not only parties but also lunch/dinner as well!!! Fantastic place!!!

Shepherd's pie was fantastic and the Irish nachos were delicious as well! Very friendly staff!

Edit 4/22/23: Tonight my husband and I tried mild wings at Doherty’s Pub & Pins, and let me tell you… those wings are on point! Best wings I’ve had in a long time, it’s going to be hard not to want to go everyday 😂. Their wings are perfectly cooked and crunchy with a nice mild buffalo seasoning. I definitely want to try their other flavors. We got them as an appetizer and then realized they were the highlight of our meal 😋 The BEST in town.

It's one of my favorite restaurants in Decatur. They have delicious sandwiches and dinner plates. I've enjoyed everything I've tried so far. Staff is attentive and the prices are reasonable.
