SpringHill Suites by Marriott Sumter

The staff was super nice and the room was great. Although, we found a few stray hairs throughout the room and bathroom. The bed was very hard and uncomfortable. I was surprised that there were no USB charging ports. They also gave us a small slip of paper with some info on breakfast and such, but no wifi password anywhere. The toilet required for us to lift the handle back up or it would continue to run and the shower only got warm and I prefer hot showers in the winter. We only stayed one night, so can't complain too much, but can't say I would have enjoyed staying a second night.

The best hotel in Sumter by far! The customer service is top notch. Everyone is friendly and accommodating. They also have a bar, fire pit, and indoor pool and hot tub.

Great hotel and location! Very clean. Great customer service! We visited this location in October . My first time at a Springhill Suite Hotel. I will be back. I really loved the floor plan of the hotel and the sliding doors and the double bathrooms. This location also had an ATM inside which is pretty convenient.

Nice, clean room. Premium toiletries. Like the split bathroom with separate water closet from the shower, each with their own sink.
The a/c was below par, could not get the bedroom cool and struggled to get any air to the sitting/desk area at all.
A few lights in the room didn't work & one randomly decided to work in the middle of the night 👀
Well run breakfast with many hot choices and excellent service.
Indoor pool and workout room.
Location is convenient but not very scenic.
The bright lights in the parking lot are great for security but are hard to keep out of your window at night.
Honestly, the rate seemed high for staying somewhere like Sumter SC, I'm sure the military per diem keeps the rates up

Very fine hotel. Great service. In particular I was impressed with breakfast lady, Diane. Her attitude to ensure customer is happy is unbelievable. Kudos to the owners and entire staff for running a great hotel 🏨.

This hotel was a pleasent surprise. The room was nice and clean. The room was updated and had a nice bathroom and room design. I loved how the toilet and sink was in its own separate room with a door like a half bath and the tub-shower and another sink was together in another area with its own door. Speaking of doors I absolutely loved the sliding door system on the bathrooms. They were not barn doors but something cool I had never seen before. The separate bathroom design is great for two people who are not family members and have to share a room as was the case with me. The breakfast was very good. I like that there was hot breakfast and breakfast snacks as well. I loved the bar area and the lobby atmosphere. I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel was THAT nice at THAT price. It felt luxurious. You could tell Marriott put its stamp on this hotel. I'm making this hotel brand my hotel everywhere I travel. I hope all of the chains are as good as the one in Sumter, SC. Fingers crossed. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Highly recommend. Lovely hotel, friendly staff, clean & modern rooms, I have no complaints and would definitely stay there again. We left around 5 AM and they even have coffee available and some yogurt and milk even though breakfast doesn’t start until 7 on Saturdays. Also, there’s a neat bar and a fire pit outside. Great place and I’m definitely picky about where I stay.

Called for a last minute reservation for a handicap accessible room and a regular room. Vera was outstanding in handling our reservation. She and the two lovely ladies at the desk in the morning were very friendly and kind. Rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good. We were thankful for a great experience on our layover to Florida on a busy travel weekend.

The room was clean and plenty spacious. My family really took advantage of the indoor pool and hot tub. The breakfast was fine. Great stay overall!

We were impressed with the hotel and the room! The room was spacious we had five people staying (not planned) in a standard room that could fit six. The space was well thought out. We loved the separate shower and toilet so that everyone could do there stuff at the same time. The beds were comfortable and clean. The breakfast the next morning was good and the staff was friendly and helpful!

While training at a facility in Sumter I had the pleasure of staying at SpringHill Suites. My room was very clean and spacious. It included a nice size refrigerator and a microwave. Breakfast was a wonderful addition and disposable gloves were available to use while handling serving utensils which I greatly appreciated. The front desk ladies were always smiling, helpful and very professional. I completely enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend this facility to anyone staying in Sumter.

It's been awhile since I stayed here but I still love the service. The lounge area is nice and clean. And the rooms are always on point. And its close to all the dine in restaurants. So you don't have to drive far at all. Great location.

As soon as I walked into this hotel, I felt at home. Extremely clean, modern design, and very cool ambience. The staff are very kind and amicable. They make you feel welcomed.

My room was a double queen and it looked like a little studio apartment. I loved the setup and accentuation of the decor. The shower was designed with clear glass and door, and was a large standing shower. The restroom was separate from the shower room and each room's door are sliding doors.

I only spent a night, but I could have easily stayed longer and comfortably. I truly recommend this hotel especially with the Buffalo Wild Wings right by it.

As a Marriott member we have stayed at a variety of properties and I have to say the designers nailed it on this one. I absolutely love the room design and it has a great workout facility. The staff is friendly and helpful. Great job !

Very clean, spacious rooms. Comfortable beds and plenty of blankets and pillows. Business desk with a lot of workspace. Love that the tub/shower was separated from the toilet. Walk in closet. Great continental breakfast with sausage and eggs, cereal, toast, pancakes. Reasonable price for what you are getting. Very relaxing.

Great place to stay! Clean rooms, friendly staff, and there are 3 level 2 ev car chargers right in the parking lot.
