Holiday Inn Express & Suites Sumter, an IHG Hotel

I work here and I love it!!! I love my manager Marquita so much!! Her energy is the best!! My co-workers are amazing!! We do very fast check ins. The housekeepers keeps it very clean and keeps it smelling fresh every day. It’s in a very convenient location where it’s lots of shopping centers and fantastic places to dine.

The room we stayed in was newly renovated and it was wonderful! Everyone was friendly!

Excellent weekend stay. This hotel is in a great location and near restaurants and shopping spots. It was 15 min away from our event in Rembert, SC. The Breakfast in the dining area was delicious. Customer service with the front desk clerk, Bernadette, was great. Beautifully decorated lobby and the landscape was well kept. I was glad to pull up when I saw the sign from the street. I do recommend and will return.
The room was clean, completely stocked with towels, toiletries, cups, coffee and assistance was available. Ample parking and hookups in the back for electric cars.

First time staying here and it was very clean and accommodating. I brought two elderly individuals along for a work and honor weekend at Darlington Raceway. They really enjoyed their stay as well. I would book this hotel again. Thank you!

This was just a quick overnight stop for us. The experience was great. The breakfast was way above the average and the lady keeping the area up was exceptional. Beds were comfortable and the room was clean. Ill keep this one on the list.

Rooms were clean, plenty of towels. The beds and pillows were very comfortable! Would stay here again if we are ever in the area.

The room was immaculate. The beds and pillows were comfortable, though not impressively so. My fiance liked their shower so much, we had to buy a matching shower head upon returning home. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. There is an Outback Steakhouse nextdoor and an IHOP across the street, though we usually had the complimentary breakfast at the hotel. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. In fact, I would prefer to stay there the next time we come to Sumter for an air show. The singular disappointment was trivial- there is not a single vending machine in the entire place that carries Mountain Dew! It's a tiny thing, but Ugh!

The hotel in general was exceptionally clean and very nice. My husband and I both noticed spots on our beds that felt a bit damp, as if they hadn't dried the comforter quite completely. We neglected to pack our toothbrushes and while there was a card in the bathroom offering free toothbrushes in the lobby if we forgot them, the receptionist looked confused and said they didn't have any. The biscuits at breakfast were rock hard. Still, even with the few minor complaints, it was an excellent night's stay, and we will stay here again. It's certainly better than other places we have stayed while visiting Sumter.

Beds were comfortable, with fluffy pillows. Very nice rooms. Didn't get to use the pool but looked so inviting. Dining room was beautiful and roomy. Great breakfast and great hosts. All seem to be easy accessible for wheelchairs. Highly recommended.

Jennifer at the front desk was really sweet and understanding and she really helped us out in short notice and I really appreciate that and I wish more people would be like this and the room is just what we were looking for and I’m just simply amazed by the perfection here but thank u holiday inn sincerely, fletcher family

Mine and my families recent stay at this Holiday Inn has far surpassed our expectations. We checked in super late and the desk staff was very friendly, even at 3am. We also had interactions with the housekeeping staff, they were so pleasant and friendly. Also, breakfast was a winner. Cinnamon rolls, pancake maker, biscuit and gravy, sausage, bacon, and two types of omlets. Definitely give this place a try!

Can't say enough great things about this place. We love staying at Holiday inn. It's always a great experience. This place has a lot of different breakfast selections from pancake to cinammon buns to cereal and got served bacon and eggs. Clean facility and well maintained. They have an indoor pool, business area and nice gym equipment. Well worth the stay!

So this trip was brought upon me because I’m in the military and we had to make sure the F-16’s that we brought from Nellis AFB were able to be fully functional and working. One person that stood out and made sure we were fully accommodated and taken care of, was named Addy. She has gone up and beyond to guarantee our experience was well worth it. I’d come back only if this hotel was loaded with workers that had that same drive and consideration. I gave this hotel a full five stars because of everything they had to offer including Addy and the vibe this hotel comes with. I applaud this kind of business and what it’s come with. Thanks Addy! I appreciate it all!!

Cleanest Hotel in Sumter!

Our family was in need of a place to stay while moving from Shaw AFB and this was home away from home! The Holiday Inn Express is clean, modern, and the staff is exceptionally friendly.

The breakfast is the best I've seen anywhere: bacon, sausage, eggs, pancakes to order, warm pastries, fruit, bagels, toast, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, and a great selection of coffee, juice, and teas.

We have two small children and were pleased to find high chairs in the dining room (and they even allowed us to borrow one for meals in our room.) I felt very comfortable allowing my infant to crawl around the room. And there was plenty of space for our pack n play with our king sized bed. (The staff also provided us with extra blankets and a crib sheet for our infant.)

There were also some amenities in the room I loved like: the clean remote policy, a Keurig machine and K cups, the firm/soft pillow options, and the bath and body works toiletries.

If you're looking for a clean and accomodating place to stay in Sumter this is it!

Talk about Southern Hospitality ! Manager Justin Green went above and beyond for me. I needed to check in early as I was caring for my sick sister and coming from out of town. True to his word he was able to find a room for me to check in early and got all of my preferences. He even made sure my keys fit the side door because I love a private entrance. Location? Amazing! Right across from Walmart. Rooms? Clean AF. Even breakfast was amazing. TY for a great Trip guys! Took my stress away.

I'd like to let you know that upon my check in 04/22/2020 at your facility I encountered an extremely nice receptionist by the name of Reese. Her customer service skills are praiseworthy, "Second to none" and more importantly should be duly noted. Reese is a true asset to the IHG team. I cannot say enough good things about her but what I will say is thank you for hiring her, she's awesome and a refreshing face for the customers. Reese made our stay the most enjoyable experience ever. Thank you two million times over.

My family stated in multiple rooms for a wedding near by. We were able to check in at 3 p.m. The rooms were clean and the reservation was described accurately. The hotel is located near multiple restaurants which was convenient for breakfast the next morning. We would stay again, if in the area.

This place was very clean, the staff was very polite, friendly, pleasant, and professional. I loved my room and it was on the first floor, and the breakfast food was simply wonderful and good.

I loved everything about the stay. The breakfast was great on Saturday morning and I think the same person should make breakfast every day

My family came into town to attend the funeral of my father. Sherilyn, Valerie, and Josh welcomed us with warm smiles and excellent service. They made our stay comfortable. Thank you.
