Julia Lester Dillon Park

I've always exercised here and it's always been a beautiful experience. The park is a great place to go for a walk or run. Also, bringing your furry one would be a plus because they have a doggy area as well. The walk is about a mile, and so. This is the park to get a great exercise at!

Clean park, enjoy the walking track, nice sports fields, plenty to do there.

Watched a fantastic softball game in a well kept and lighted area. Bathroom was clean, decent concession stand and plenty of good parking.

Very nice park. Huge with lots of parking. Ok bathrooms. Need to fix the locks on the doors, though.

Nothing like a night in the lights watching a nice softball game in Dillon Park and it is kid friendly also

Great park to enjoy youth games as well as much improved ball park & walking track around the sports from soccer to baseball, softball etc. Very well kept up w/something for everyone. Even just taking in a ball game for fun or a break from walking, running even Frisbee tossing!! Great family fun for everyone!!! Pets allowed, pls bring your pets 'baggies' !!

I love going out to there relax

Was there for Sumter's fireworks display for 2019. Alot of work has gone into this park in the last year. The grounds are well maintained. A decent dog park at the entry to the park. Football, soccer, baseball fields with ample lighting for evening/night events. Concessions and restrooms available during scheduled events. A disc golf course along short trails.

First visit to the dog park. Wonderful experience! Alex (my pup) and I were impressed. Owners and dogs, all sizes and breeds were delightful! What a great day.

Nice Park for kids events & grown ups to get your walk on. My Grandson’s football team, Columbia Knights played the Sumter Spartans. 24-0 Win for his team. He had 3 solo tackles from his MLB position

Great walking/jogging trails. Good parking here also. It's open for possibilities but you must bring the fun with you.

Changed alot ,since 2009 looks great more back all fields football walk around path like get pound's down

The work they've done to the park to make it better and the community we have a safe place so the kids to play football thank you Sumter County

Golf course is looking good. Could be great if they let the fairways grow a little. Great Staff

Very good place to chill and watch football baseball soccer and walk run etc. Even have Frisbee now to play

Watched the 4th of July fireworks display put on by the City of Sumter. Short but sweet.

Great place to take my walks. Very safe and clean. My kids love it as well.
