Big Hill Park

This place is so beautiful years round and always a wonderful drive , walk or hike

Have been here 2x now. Its a great place to hike. I did over 5 miles the first time. There are mowed paths and a prairie on the one side and the other is the big hill. Lots to explore. Would definitely recommend. Lots of little parks and restrooms are out houses so they are opened all year round. Also has breath taking views. They have several shelters for picnics with playground areas too.

We went for a hike on the trail that goes down the ridge. The stone walls were renovated, and the trail widened and fixed. It was a beautiful hike.

Nice place to hike and see fall colours

This park is amazing. It is a good place for families or alone time. The park has nice play areas and plenty of trails to walk or hike.

Been goin to Big Hill Park since I was a youngin, and love it still! Nature trails, creek, river and of course, big hills!

Beautiful hiking trails over looking the Rock River

I love visiting Big Hill Park. There are lots of different trails and areas to explore. It’s a great place to walk around or to have a picnic. It’s especially nice to visit in the fall when all the leaves are changing colors. I also like the river outlook area.

I love coming here with my dog and kids. The playgrounds are great for kids of all ages and we love hiking the trails. The view from the lookout area is breathtaking.

Hard to believe it’s been forty years now since I came here as a teenager. What a great park/resource for Beloit and the state line area. The park is aging well and being kept in great condition.

Great trails with an awesome view

Been having problems with life and I was out driving around and decided to go through the park. It was so beautiful, the trees were a brilliant yellow and the sun was shining through the trees. I sat there for hours just watching the leaves gently falling from the trees

I have been going to Big Hills since I was a kid and now I have been taking mine to the park. They love playing on the playground and exploring the trails!

What a Gem.. Having lived in this area 50 years, why haven't I found it sooner. Made multiple trips for walking the dogs in the past month.

Very relaxing, nice will maintained graded trails.
