Shiloh Animal Hospital

Shiloh has been treating our 3 dogs for years. We really trust the staff and have always received exceptional service. Appointments are on time, communication is great, and providers are patient and willing to answer questions. When one of our dogs fell very ill in 2022, Dr. Shana partnered with us to get him on a treatment protocol that helped to save his life. It took many months of treatment during which she was so gracious with her time and answered our questions along the way. Excellent, excellent veterinary practice. Highly recommend!

The superlative care and dedication is most evident at this practice. We are grateful for the fantastic level of knowledge and kindness our furbabies receive at Shiloh Veterinary. They never gave up when our beloved pup was sick with cancer. Dr Tabor and team guided us with love and care every step of the way.

Shiloh Animal Hospital is a healthy place to visit. The technicians and the doctors truly care. The receptionists listen and liaise with other staff for you, and my visit today was a positive one. They are experienced with Behavioural Issues, and for this I am very grateful, because they are "on board" to resolve issues, not just to ignore them or brush them under the rug. We are growing together, and I'm looking forward to seeing how my wee dog changes and develops within the next years under their "total team approach" compassionate professional care. Shiloh is the best vet care I've experienced in this area in 18 years. The staff is knowledgeable, very personable, treats my pet with love, kindness, patience, care and humor. I especially love their Holistic offerings and options. The facility is always clean and pleasant. Dr. Nelson and her team are the total Dream Team!

Everyone was amazing for our first visit here. The vet tech took her time explaining options and costs (and ways to save $). The vet was great with both our dogs. They even had a cute welcome sign out front with the names of the new clients that day!!

Our two boys, Ruger and Maverick, see Dr. Nelson! She is extremely knowledgeable and amazing with both our boys. It is hard to find a vet that you feel safe trusting your dog’s health with and we are so graceful to have found Shiloh and Dr. Nelson for our boys.

We are so lucky to have the depth of experience and the caring of all the staff at Shiloh Animal Hospital. Our Vet, Dr. Alley has consistently offered quality care and many solution options to any health issues our two dogs have had over the 8 years we’ve been taking them to the practice. Other veterinarians in the practice are superb as well … truly an holistic and traditional practice combination.

Dr. Zimmerman and nurse Megan provided gentle, compassionate care for my dog. I loved learning about the holistic options offered and the way it can promote his healing in tandem with other veterinary services. They answered every question thoroughly, provided “take home” information to explore more, and gave customized recommendations for exactly what would be best for him. He has slept more soundly and been more playful after his first treatment than he has in weeks and looking forward to continuing his care together!

Updated to add: We’ve since had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Nelson and Dr. Shana as well and every doctor and staff member has been extraordinary. From routine appointments with my nervous second dog (made very low stress and pleasant) to fitting us in same-day for more pressing needs, I’ve just continued to be impressed at every turn. Thank you to the whole Shiloh team!

Dr Tabor is awesome! She listens to me and really takes the time to examine both of my dogs carefully and loves on them. I trust her opinion and don’t ever feel she is trying to upsell any procedures/products we don’t need. The front desk staff and vet techs are all so kind and loving towards my dogs. One of my pups is very uneasy and anxious. Dr Tabor and her staff like Liberty are so calm and compassionate with her. My other dog loves coming and just views our visit as a social outing. We drive 30 minutes to come to Shiloh Animal Hospital. I highly recommend this practice!

I’ve never had a bad experience at Shiloh. I’ve been taking my girls there for over 10 yrs. I have even moved 30 minutes away and still drive there. Dr Alley and Dr Shana are the best.

Amazing vets and staff. They have always taken great care of my pets and thoroughly explained everything to us. Dr Zimmerman is great, knowledgeable and provides alternative therapy. The vet techs are friendly and treat my animals well. Front desk staff are sweet. Office is clean. If my animal is freaked out they encourage me to help soothe my animal. Highly recommend

Wonderful caring and knowledgeable staff. I am so grateful to Dr. Alley for her calm and insightful demeanor. She has helped my cats and my dog through many difficult situations with both traditional and alternative methods of healing for which I am so grateful. My wife and I would like to praise AND thank Dr Shana Silverstein for being the consummate professional that she is.
Our little dog’s dental condition was unsettling, and her expertise instilled confidence in us to agree to have his 7 teeth pulled. Afterward, her articulate explanation of the surgery reassured us on all levels.
Dr. Shana’s smart, witty, amusing and lovable personality soothed my empathetic nerves.

I adopted a dog a couple weeks ago so I didn't know much about his history but he is super skittish around people so I was feeling a bit anxious about how he would do at the vet. I found Shiloh Animal Hospital online, and what stood out was their emphasis on care for nervous pets.
They absolutely live up to what they say and I could not be more pleased with how my visit went. Everyone in the office, from the person I spoke to book the appointment to the doctor all genuinely care about animals and it showed.

They go above and beyond to make sure your pet feels comfortable. It was the little details that impressed me, like one of the techs walking in front of us because she saw walking behind us was making my dog more nervous.
They all had treats ready and even talked in soft, soothing voices so his tail was wagging eventually with everyone that he encountered.

He loved it so much there, that I had to bribe him to get back in my car and go home! He was pulling me to go back inside. I truly cannot say enough about this practice and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet in the area.

The facilities are clean, attractive and welcoming. Everyone is very friendly and sensitive to the needs of the animals, in my case my dog. Dr. Tabor was extremely knowledgeable and gentle, very calm and understanding. I am so happy to have found such a wonderful vet.

We had our first appointment with Dr. Shayne Zimmerman to just ask questions and figure out the best route to move our 2 year old Chocolate Lab onto a homemade food diet. Mylo struggles with allergies, itchy skin, GI issues and anxiety. How wonderful it was to sit down with someone who could talk to me about non prescription ways to help him become healthy and happy.

Unbeknownst to me, a dear family friend is one of the Vet techs and happened to be with Dr. Zimmerman yesterday. Both Mylo and I were so incredibly happy to see Leah there. While Dr. Zimmerman and I chatted, Leah sat with Mylo and calmed him down. Believe me, that is NOT an easy task.

I left with knowledge and confidence that this is something I CAN do and I am so excited to get started. I would have been ready to go with trying acupuncture yesterday, but since it was Mylo's first trip there, Dr. Zimmerman suggested we not do that as it may make him anxious in the future. That just proves to me that this practice is not out just to make a dollar off anxious parents.

We will definitely be going back and working with Shiloh in conjunction with our local vet. Shiloh is about 45 minutes away, but I will definitely drive there in the future.

We love Shiloh Animal Hospital and all of the staff there. We've been with Dr Alley since we first adopted our rescue puppy, and she has given us tremendous peace of mind as first-time pet owners. All of the staff are warm and show extra care to make our sweet doggo feel comfortable and safe there. She loves to visit Shiloh!

We absolutely love Shiloh. Our former vet moved out to state. We were looking for a holistic option after we had spent a lot of time, money, and tears trying to find an answer to our dog Lucas GI issues. We had tried everything conventional. We met with Dr. Zimmerman and she recommended a fresh food diet. When we switched our dog to a raw diet everything changed and is off all medication and feeling great. We will be forever thankful and love having a practitioner, and a practice, that truly cares about pet parents wishes for treatment and can offer safer, more holistic options. My husband, me, and Lucas are so grateful!
