Candlewood Suites Sumter, an IHG Hotel

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Candlewood Suites Sumter location and I must say, it was an excellent experience from start to finish. From the moment I walked through the doors, I knew I was in for a memorable stay.The front desk worker, Kaitlynn, was a standout. She was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. She went above and beyond to make sure my check-in process was smooth and that I had all the information I needed about the hotel's amenities and services. Kaitlynn's exceptional customer service truly set the tone for my entire stay.The hotel itself was in impeccable condition. The room was clean, well-maintained, and beautifully decorated. The bed was comfortable, and all the amenities were top-notch. I also appreciated the attention to detail in terms of cleanliness and safety, which is especially important in these times.The hotel's location is fantastic, with easy access to local attractions, restaurants, and shopping areas.In summary, my stay at Candlewood Suites was exceptional. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and well-located place to stay. Kaitlynn and her staff, are true assets to the hotel, and I can't thank them enough for their outstanding service. I look forward to returning to this hotel in the future.

I love it! Every time I return here, they are always so helpful and the rooms are great along with the amenities that are on site. It always feels like a second home. Definitely always coming here.

The staff was very friendly and courteous. The room was very clean and very comfortable. I would recommend 10/10. Big TV A++++++

I love the staff! Everyone greeted me by name. My room was also excellent and clean. The kitchen made it very convenient to cook.

I've stayed in a lot of hotels through clc and this was one of the better ones I've been to. The girl at the front desk creena was absolutely amazing suggested tons of local spots to check out and didn't seem to mind I post my key like 20 times 😆 . Highly recommend

The young lady who helped us is the best. from the service to the rooms every thing was great…..we will definitely be back soon for a longer stay…..the dove care they have omg TOP TIER and the bed!!!! Perfect

We decided to try a weekend getaway but needed to stay in town ....so last minute, (lunch time ) we booked a room here...Best decision EVER!!! The staff was extremely kind n the room was great...especially the bed...definitely will be back!!

Absolutely no complaints at all. Will return for sure!!! This will be the only option when visiting family. Definetly home away from home. Staff extremely helpful and professional. Have visited and stayed on 2 different occasions both double nights.. Be back next visit for sure. Love the roomy clean suites.

Great for a short stay ....or even a long one! Most of the staff are great but McKenzie is our favorite, she's friendly and very helpful. Great place to stay with kids and animals.

We only stayed for one night but had a great experience. Our king suite was spacious, and our room was extremely clean. Our dog was able to stay with us, and there were none of the usual signs (stains on floors, etc) that we were in pet room. The dog walk area is much larger than other places that we've stayed.

I read some of the negative reviews and wanted to clarify that we didn't have any of the problems mentioned. The staff was very friendly and the room was large. Although we only stayed a night (and didn't deal with housekeeping), I'm surprised by all of the comments about weekly housekeeping. I've found this to be fairly common during long-term hotel stays for business trips.

We enjoyed our stay here! The rooms were like one room studio apartments. The rooms and property were clean and well kept. The staff were friendly and always welcomed you "home" when you came in in the evening. They even have a small selection of games, movies, and kitchen appliances you can borrow during your stay.

This is an absolutely gorgeous property... The beds are new, comfortable, and everything feels very fresh. The Suites are bright and homey. I would have liked to stay here much longer as it was a great experience! Free on-site laundry, fast Wi-Fi, and very welcoming front desk staff.

Stayed a little over 2 weeks while working on the nearby air Base. Very nice place to call home while not home. Rooms nice size, full kitchen. A small pantry downstairs with items you can purchase in lieu of breakfast. Lot of loaner items and movies available to bring to your room. Friendly staff. I like it better than Extended Stay America. Right next to a Logans so food in walking distance.

If you are looking for a pet friendly hotel in or around Sumter, this is the one you should plan on. There is a designated area out back for a pet walk with convenient bags to pick up after your furry one. Staff was pleasant and helpful. One thing I would change is bigger TV's in the rooms as they are located far from the bed.

The customer service is what sets this Candlewood apart from the others. Thanks to the team, Eli, Kaitlin, Kendra, McKenzie, Maria, Noble, and the nice cleaning lady who's name I never caught for making my 4 month stay pleasant.

We arrived a little early, did not have to wait, we were able to check into our room.
"The room was simply BEAUTIFUL!!!" AND THE STAFF WAS GREAT AS WELL, WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!

Clean lobby with pleasant workers. Smelled clean, chlorine wasn't overpowering. Hallways were vacuumed and spacious. 2 thumbs up for the rooms.

Very clean with full kitchens. You can have a nice dinner right in the room.
