Wow, how to adequately describe how great I feel after having cervical discectomy and fusion surgery done by Dr. McElroy! Previous to surgery, I had severe pain and was losing the use of my arm due to the spinal nerves being so pinched. Now full range of motion of my neck and arm has been returned!! Thank you Dr. McElroy and your staff, I'm extremely grateful!!

I wish all back doctors were as good as Dr. McElroy. I cringe when my friends tell me they are going to have surgery with someone else. Dr. McElroy did a cervical fushion a couple of years ago that prior to the surgery I was in terrific pain. It was absolutely debilitating. About a year ago I needed a lumbar fushion. There was no one else I would even think of having my surgery with. I'm doing great now. Not all surgeons are alike, but some are better than others. Are you going to trust your back surgery to just anyone. It's my belief that this young surgeon will be thought of as one of the best in the area.

Wife had extreme headache for months. First saw a pain doctor and tried treating her. Said her spinal issues could not be reason for the headache. Our GP, suggested Dr McElroy, who said that repairing her disk may help the headaches. She is now headache free after successful surgery. We are very thankful for Dr McElroy and his staff, they are all excellent health care providers.

Dr, McElroy , Donna and the entire staff were very kind, caring and explained fully what to expect after surgery. They were on time for all appointments and took time to answer all of our questions and concerns without rushing through our appointments from initial visit, preop and post op appointments! We highly recommend Dr McElroy for any spine needs and he will definitely be our family spine surgeon from now on!

Great surgeon! Very personable and easy to understand. Had a very successful laminectomy/discectomy that cured my chronic, life controlling back pain.

Dr McElroy is an amazing doctor. My spine felt so broken and after surgery I felt like it was a miracle to feel so good again. He is patient and explained in detail what exactly needed to be done. I was up and walking same day and released within 24 to 48 hours. Donna and the office staff are always tentative, addresses any concerns or questions almost immediately and they do it with a smile. You are made to feel, like you are the only patient. When they have you enter therapy, do it and make sure you follow through, they have you do this for a reason.
This is my third round in Orthopedic Associates (for other) and I would not think of using anyone else.

No need to look any further for a spinal surgeon. Dr. McElroy represents what we all want from our physicians. Not only his skill, but he spends time with his patients and listens to them. Really listens. I wish that I could rate him higher.

I feel excellent, I walk better, my lower back and leg pain gone!! I only took 4 days of pain Med and took only Tylenol; that’s how good I felt. I played golf on 10/21/2023 and I absolutely felt no pain!

What a difference in no time! Had a bulging disc causing nerve pain down my leg. Dr. McElroy performed a 30 min surgery removing the portion of the disc pressing against the nerves and it totally relieved the pain.

Dr McElroy and his staff are absolutely top notch. He installed a much needed spinal stimulator implant for me and did an amazing job of it. Every appointment we had I was treated like a long time friend and that he understood the hell I was living in without this implant. Him and his assistant Donna bent over backwards to get me last minute appointments, and even stayed late to do my surgery once insurance approved the device. 3 days after surgery, I walked 2 miles without pain! I've been able to walk everyday since.

When I went to see Dr. McElroy, I could barely walk with the pain I had from a pinched nerve. Sitting was equally painful. Dr. McElroy showed me my MRI, and explained in great detail where the problem was, and how best to fix it. Within two weeks, I had an easy procedure at their surgical center, and was home the same day. I felt relief immediately, and have not had any problems since. I highly recommend Dr. McElroy and the entire staff at Orthopedic Associates.

I can't tell you what a difference Dr. McElroy and his staff made in my life. I was in constant back pain with twinges down my hip and leg. Dr. McElroy listened to my concerns, explained my options and in the end, I chose to have corrective surgery. I am now pain free, well, in my back anyway!!

Dr. McElroy is awesome! Herniated my L5 and I was scheduled for surgery in less than 2 weeks. It went perfectly and I feel great 2 weeks post op. Everyone at his office was friendly, prompt, and went out of their way to help. Dr. McElroy explains everything very thoroughly and listens to his patients! I never want to go through it again, but if I do, he will be the one I call!

I was referred to Dr McElroy for my neck pain due to a car accident in 2017. Gave him the MRI from the hospital and he tried different steps to keep from me having surgery. No luck, the steroid shot actually made my pain quadruple. After consulting with him we decided to do the surgery. He has been an amazing Doctor. He explains everything to you in great detail. I do not have the pain I was having anymore, just a process of healing and being a brand new me! Everyone there is AWESOME!

Was living with severe pain in my lower left back, hip, and down the left leg. I lived with this for more than a year, with it getting progressively worse over time, to the point I could not drive my car more than 10 minutes at a time... After conservative treatment, Dr. McElroy performed a Minimally invasive laminectomy. All I can say is WOW! The surgery really wasn't near as bad as I expected, recovery was really easy and mostly pain-free! 3 weeks after the surgery and I feel like my old self again. No Pain and the missing strength in my leg is back! Dr. McElroy in my opinion is awesome! LOL, just drive my car for a 1-hour trip! YEA!

Also would like to make a special mention of his staff. They were amazingly responsive, efficient, and caring. Donna never let me down on anything and even made up for the shortfalls of other doctors in the surgery preop phase.. I was surprised that every time I called her number, she responded immediately and even answered the phone a few times personally and I did not have to leave a message. For me the whole experience was great, now that I am aware of what a great staff looks like, well I can only wish my other doctors had a staff as Dr. McElroy does. They are definitely keepers! LOVE YOU GUYS!
