Just incredible. The combination of culture, nature, and art is unsurpassed. Immaculately kept by dedicated volunteers. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and all over the property to help you understand what you're looking at. It's worth twice the price of admission. The grounds, the galleries, the zoo, all a must see when you are in the area. It's one of the coolest places I've seen in a long time.

Though we visited the grounds in early March when everything was dormant, it was an unexpected sight to drive the boulevard into Brookgreen and view the majestic oaks laden w hanging Spanish Moss. We had a beautiful day to enjoy the various gardens, while snapping photos of many of the intriguing & engaging sculptures. The literature states their current collection contains over 2700 works by 425 artists. Many of which were on display in the gardens or in galleries. Highlights for us were Live Oak Allie, Diana Pool, the Brown Sculpture Court, Don Quixote, and my wife's favorite - Saint James Triad. Tickets are $20/person for seniors; otherwise $22 and are good for 7 days. We were there for 3 hours and couldn't see it all. Consequently, we returned to visit the Lowcountry Trail and the Zoo. The trail follows a route where slaves were quartered adjacent to the former rice fields that they cleared and maintained. The Lowcountry Zoo is a short walk, where birds and small animals in their natural habitat are featured. We especially loved the Waterfowl Aviary. The Brookgreen Gardens is a spectacular place to visit. A must see in the Myrtle Beach area.

Wonderful time strolling the garden! I can only imagine what it will be like soon when the spring flowers begin to blossom. We saw a wild turkey and hundreds of robins along with the beautiful tulip trees, daffodils, and more.

We had a great time walking through the gardens, viewing the sculptures, learning about the low country enslavement history, and strolling the native zoo. Though $22 seemed a bit much at first, we thought it was well worth it, even in the off season (maybe even moreso with the smaller crowds). All of the volunteers we met were pleasant and helpful. Highly accessible for those who need accommodations

Lights of A Thousand Candles was the perfect start to the holiday season. It's an amazing sight to see. The festive spirit starts here. The pictures don't do it justice. You have to experience it in person. The staff do a great job organizing the parking, so it's easy in and out of the event. Get your tickets early. It's a popular venue, so get there early (when gates open).

What an enchanting experience! 13 of us ventured into the lovely gardens! The sunset was wonderful! The staff were so helpful. We enjoyed strolling and sipping beverages as we enjoyed the breathtaking, sculptures, plants, trees, lights and decorations! If you want to be in awe, this is the place to be! So glad we were able to secure tickets and share such a fabulous time that we’ll talk about forever!

I highly recommend Brookgreen gardens! My friends, and I had so much fun walking around the sculpture garden, visiting the low country zoo, and just checking out all the art deco in the art gallery! There’s currently an art deco expose that just opened today! At the “zoo”‘ I was so at ease seeing the excellent treatment of the animals, which is a treat if you’ve visited any other animal exhibits/activities in the Myrtle beach area (please don’t). I highly recommend giving Brookgreen gardens a visit!

The Christmas Lights are absolutely beautiful and magical. One of my new favorite traditions is to come here during the holidays as they do an amazing job. The food trucks were really good that we tried but the lights are where it's at! Excellent job

Amazing experience at the "Nights of a Thousand Candles." The statues are displayed so beautifully and the Oak Trees & grounds are spectacular with all the lights.

I've visited in other seasons and it's such a tranquil place to take time and enjoy all the beauty.

I went to Brookgreen Gardens during my vacation in Myrtle Beach last year in May. The outdoor American Sculpture museum is huge! I'm the type of person who loves art and all its mediums and this was such a treat. Sculptures displayed in such a breathtaking garden setting as well as viewing many more in galleries and storage facilities. This is a go to every time I think of visiting Myrtle Beach. Will definitely stop by for another visit this upcoming Spring, this time a stroll through the Lowcountry Zoo Reserves. Can't hardly wait!

We go to Brooke Green gardens for the night of a thousand candles almost every year. If we can get tickets. They sell out fast! And justifiably so the candles and lights are beautiful in the gardens. We also usually eat and the seafood. The shrimp and fish and fries and hush puppies were delicious. Brooke Green gardens is also beautiful on every other day of the year. Statues and the gardens are spectacular.

This garden is well worth a visit. The tickets are good for 7 days, and you'll want to plan at least 2 days to take it all in. The sculptures are amazing. Ask the staff to show you where the wooden carved birds are. They are incredible.

Lovely Garden. Well maintained and always has flowers whenever we have gone. The tickets are currently $22 for adults, there are discounts for AAA members, military, over 65. There are a lot of sculptures to enjoy, butterfly garden ( open only till 2 pm), boat tours( additional 10$ per person and only till certain time of the day), a small zoo. There are picnic tables and also shuttle between parking lots. You can easily spend a day or more. The ticket is valid for 7 days. If you are in the area, you can go multiple times. There is also Yoga in the park on Saturdays. Such a nice place, very peaceful. Plenty of parking spaces.

Beautiful gardens. We had a magical experience. My wife described it as living a Hallmark movie. Haha. We had drinks that were adequate. They are not shy when pouring wine. We ate soup and a fish platter and it was very good. This was a nice Christmas thing to do. No need to get there early. Maybe arrive 15 minutes before sunset. Plan on spending 2 hours from there unless you decide to hang out for the music.

Beautiful gardens, sculptures, and views. A lot of it will inspire some introspection. Really enjoyed exploring this site, walking in relatively quiet nature, and stepping away from the crowds for a little while. If you are looking for non-beach related activities while visiting Myrtle Beach, look no further than the Brookgreen Gardens.
