Keyport Liquor Store, Restaurant & Lounge

Enormous, gigantic, massive! That's the description of the selection at Keyport Liquor. On top of that, they have great prices & employees that are eager to be helpful. I was looking for a specific beer (Narwhal by Sierra Nevada) & found the last 6 pack on the shelf. When I went to the register I asked if the cashier knew if they had any more. He asked me to wait & he would go check. It turned out there was a full case in the back & he brought it for me & I took it home. Thank you.

The lounge adjacent needs to have a staff customer appreciation meeting ASAP

Two trips , two different bartenders ....neither could hold back their annoyed at having to wait on a customer lethargic sour attitude
I am a friendly cheerful person & good tipper
You really have to drag me in the mud of poor service to get a negative reaction from me . I suggest cleaning the cobwebs of stale , tired cash allergic bartenders & hire some enthusiastic people with a pulse
The resting biattch face & flat out rudeness is ...was a turn off to me not entering again

TL;DR - Don't let the Liquor Store-adjacent bar restaurant in a grocery store parking lot dissuade you, Keyport Liquor's restaurant offers great service and great food at very reasonable prices and is worth a stop.

Service:
- quick seating; drink received and order taken in about 5minutes
- food took about 25 minutes (a little longer than I would have liked, but not terrible)

Food:
Got a bacon cheeseburger and upgraded to beer battered fries, and had no regrets. Overall the bun, burger, cheese, and bacon all worked together beautifully.
- Burger came with a fresh-baked bun which was light and fluffy
- Burger patty appeared to be hand-pattied and if I had to nit-pick it was a little on the dry side but flavor was very good.
- Bacon was generous and nice and crispy.
- the fries were perfectly prepared; nice and crispy with great flavor and totally worth the (totally reasonable) up-charge.
- Atmosphere: it's a restaurant and bar attached to a liquor store; it's not exciting but it was clean and has been well-kept so no complaints.

They put up with my craziness wide selection lots of cheap stuff friendly staff love it

Friendly environment. Staff is awesome... Especially Dave @bar. ;) Mexican Thursdays are half off, w super good food. They keep the place clean. Parking is always available. It's also a place you can bring your family for a sit down dinner.

John is always a big help in pointing out product I may enjoy

Great atmosphere with good, and friendly folks around.

For years, when I made chili, I added 2 bottles of Beck's Dark beer instead of water. A few years ago, Beck's discontinued that beer and I could never find anything as good.
After speaking with the knowledgeable folks at Keyport Liquor, they turned me onto Kőstritzer, a black lager beer. That afternoon, I made chili - and it was fabulous, even better than with Beck's.

Suds and grub always win. Menu is affordable. Take advantage of the specials and you'll wonder what year you're in. Beats any fast food joint and you can bring home liquid rations on top!

Great bar, if you drink beer it's cheaper here than most places

Best liquor store in the Duluth/Superior area. The staff are super nice and down to earth, especially Tarrah! She’s the bomb and always gives the best customer service. She’s super nice, funny & just awesome all around!

Best selection and prices on quality bourbons, whiskeys, and Scotch’s.

This is my favorite place to shop my liquor, I use to go to Wine Chateau , The quality of service here is awesome very friendly with very competitive pricing , now even with online order & Delivery Option , it can only get Awesome nothing less
