The Garage Bar & Sandwiches

We went here after a basketball game, around 3pm on Saturday. Place was busy which I took as a good sign. Atmosphere was great. Sports bar vibes meets family friendly. Food was divine and there was definitely something for everyone. Great place to grab a beer or two.

My friends and I have been coming here for years, before they even built out and used the spectacular rooftop that they have now. The server Erin has been with the bar for a long time and she is always super friendly, attentive, and very good at what she does. We love coming by just to visit her and catch up!

Overall, this bar has the best ginormous pretzel that goes along with the best dips. It comes with queso, honey mustard, and their house-made beer cheese. It’s truly the best I ever had and everything else on their menu is tasty. I don’t think I’ve ever had anything that I didn’t like here. Other recommendations: the bone-in wings, cauliflower wings, and the alforno sandwich!😋

9/2022 5* Food was fantastic. Our server Zoe was amazing. She did awesome! Mac & Cheese Empanadas were great. My Build a Burger was crazy good. And the Fiesta Fields Salad was tremendous. The spice on the chicken was a little much for our taste. But overall we would order it again. Almost tried the Fried Oreos, but we were just too full! We will be back again for sure!

Great place to visit and get some good tasting food.
I don't recommend the elote, it is not the typical street corn served at Mexican food carts. Good drink selection, service was friendly and polite.
Restaurant windows were wide open for fresh air.

Tables were pretty sticky, might be the coating mixed with cleaner spray.

Rooftop wait was about an hour and packed towards 6pm.

We started with the Fried Cauliflower. We have had fried Cauliflower at other restaurants, this tasted like they fried fresh Cauliflower when ordered, not frozen stuff. The Michelangelo was an exciting turn on a Chicken Parmesan sandwich, deep fried chicken breast on Italian focaccia. The fish tacos are slightly spicy.

Popped in for a quick bite before a movie. None of us had been before, and we were pleasantly surprised. Good burgers, crispy tots, beer flights, and a laid-back neighborhood spot vibe. Definitely check it out!

Food was amazing. We had the greasy garage and the el mechanico n they were extremely flavorful n made to order. I loved the fries too, they are hand cut and crispy. Johanna our server was super friendly and efficient! We will be back!

Hi guys, just wanna let you guys know the garage bar in sandwiches is a great spot to have food. The service was OK. Not the best but the food makes everything better. Unfortunately the drinks were trash. I shouldn’t say trash because that’s understatement. They are horrible they taste nothing but syrup don’t get drinks or specialty drinks here get anything on tap that was better, good luck

Very cool place !!! I’ve lived in the area for about 4 years now …. Just found out about this place !!! Wry good food , service is great and so is the atmosphere! I had the burger with egg and it was AMAZING!!! Zoe was our server and she was awesome! Definitely going to come back !

My girlfriend and I try to come every Friday and it is always a great experience. Amazing service with great food and drinks! Very recommended spot in the neighborhood.

Good for different food options if you aren’t sure what you are in the mood for of if your group can’t decide on a type of food. The beer options are vast as well. A good mix of high tops and low top seating available.

We ordered our drinks which were decent. The food was better than we expected. We ordered shrimp starters and we loved it so much that we ordered the same shrimp but as a sandwich for our entree. Spicy chipotle chicken salad was too good. It was hot but then was going so well with the margarita. Price wise it was a good deal spl the drinks. P.S. the photos were clicked after eating half of it. So the portion size for entrees is big :). They have a terrace sitting which elevates the food and the good drinks combo.

Randomly picked this spot for a dinner and drinks with friends and it turned out great. We thought about sitting on the rooftop but got a nice spot right in front of the garage door which was open on a cool summer night. Great food, service, and drinks. The tater tots are amazing definitely add a basket to whatever you order.

This place was great! We ordered the pretzel appetizer and it was gigantic! My husband ordered the burger and I ordered their Carmela sandwich, both were excellent! The staff were very friendly too!
