This is a review that is long overdue. I wanted to share our experience dealing with “low ethics” Dawn Rocha. She was a seller agent for a land that was for sale for a very long time and obviously no offer had been made for a while (confirmed by Dawn to our agent). We made an offer that got declined, but Dawn said if we were coming back with an offer at a specific price, the seller would accept it right away. So we quickly reviewed our offer, Dawn came back asking to make one modification on our offer, which we accepted within a few hours, and suddenly (like within 30 min after) Dawn came saying she was getting "multiple" offers, changed the Zillow post to set a deadline for submission of all offers the next day.
Now one could say maybe our agent didn't share the truth about the conversations with Dawn, but again, we are talking about a land that was for sale for months and "suddenly" was getting bunch of offers within a day.
We are not bitter about not getting the land because we believe that you only get what is meant to be for us. But we want to warn potential buyers who have to purchase a property from Dawn, and maybe potential sellers who plan on hiring her, that she is a person with very low ethics and not a woman of her words.
