The park is quiet and has scenic surroundings. John, the owner is very helpful. He has a great personality that anyone would enjoy talking with. We stayed a week and anytime we are in the area it will be our return place. I recommend the park and during fishing season you will enjoy as well. The river was right behind us. Good luck to John keeping such a fine park.

Great owner and basic place to stay. We were passing through and spent two nights here in our travel trailer. Water pressure was great! Very quiet and several long termers that pretty much kept to themselves.
Well maintained full hook up location and close proximity to groceries and restaurants.

We stayed at Riverfront RV park on our way from Austin to South Padre Island. My first impression was the communication is excellent when I called to make the reservation the previous day. Was immediately connected the owner who answered all my questions. The park itself was very well-maintained and quite unique. Electrical is top notch at exactly 122 V and 60 Hz. Water and sewage was exactly as expected. Very easy to pull through with our 34 foot bumper pull. Also there is an awesome creek or river that runs behind the park. We got our fishing poles out and had a great time the day of our departure. We saw several very unique birds, including a K illdeer, and Vermillion Flycatcher. Overall the park is very well cared for, very clean, and there are bright stars at night. Great rope swings at then back of the park. Quiet and relaxing. Highly recommend this and will be staying there again.

Stayed overnight on 12/29/21. What a lovely surprise this little RV Park was. Very small, which gave it an intimate feel. Well kept grounds and friendly owner who met us when we arrived and walked over in the morning to tell us goodbye. There is a bit of confusion as to check in procedures. You actually just choose your own spot and pull in. Those closest to river are back ins, but we chose a pull through since we were just staying overnight. Some spots had trees which made for nice shade, but our 39’ fifth wheel was too high, and we didn’t want to incur roof damage. Just across the street is a small airport, but not much activity. Although the park is easily accessible from the main highway, it’s far enough away that it’s very quiet. Internet worked fine with a little buffering now and then if you were streaming but no problem for other uses. No cable. Folks staying in the park were very friendly. I think most were long term campers, but you don’t see the junk around the campsites that you usually see with long termers. Felt very safe. John, the owner, told us they were catching bass in the river, but we didn’t get to do any fishing. Would love to come back when we can stay longer.

We’ve been at this park for the last 10 months while my husband was here for work. Very nice and quite park, pretty trees and the river if you enjoy fishing.

The owner is very nice and helpful and everyone we’ve met here has been nice. I would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

(My dog Jaxon is definitely going to miss all the attention and treats he got here!)

Highly recommend the park if you are in the area.

I visited a friend and didn't expect much but to my surprise it felt like a little paradise on the river. Kayaking is great here. The RV park is also next to the Texas Parks and Wild Life's official Texas Paddling Trail. This nature water trail is hardcore Texas. This place relieved my stress. Highly recommend.

Absolutely love this place and John has been magnificent to us. I love the quiet and huge lots. I love the river and everything about this place. I am so sad to leave this wonderful spot. We only have 1 week left :(

We stayed at Riverfront for the weekend to see the eclipse. I chose this park for the reviews & being tucked away in the back country away from big cities. It's a very quiet park. We noticed a large portion of RVs were longer-term guests, and there is no community bathrooms or showers. There are no firepits, but there is a "community firepit". We brought our electric griddle. The park was very clean with beautiful trees. The owner John was very welcoming & we appreciated that it isn't a party-type weekender park. We even had zero concerns leaving our camper to spend an evening in Corpus with family, which was only an hour's drive from the park. We literally couldn't have asked for anything more here. Thank you for a peaceful getaway! - Shawn & Shanna, Pilot Point, TX

If you like rivers, fishing and kayaking that is friendly and well managed, this is your place. The rates are extremely reasonable and utilities are included. The communal fire pit is great for meeting your neighbors and cooking your catch. Sorry, no pool, hot tub or game room, but plenty of nature's beauty.

Staying at the Riverfront RV park is like staying with family. My wife and I had a wonderful stay for a month and during our time we made life long friends with the owners, manager and other RV folks. We enjoyed cooking over the fire, kayaking, walking the river, visiting local attractions as well as the gulf coast and San Antonio. This RV park has private, spacious sites, magical ancient live Oak tree's, a beautiful river with easy access and friendly people everywhere. The owner Jim and park manager Johnny care deeply about your experience and needs and are always available to help with anything you may need. I promise you won't find a better RV park in Texas!!

We decided to go camping super last minute and booked a spot. I was a bit hesitant to stay at an ‘RV’ park but was pleasantly surprised by the awesomeness of Riverfront RV Park. Plenty of trees, Camp fire spots, abundance of quiet, great river views, fishing, stargazing, wildlife to watch, and great friendly hosts. If you’re looking for a super backwoods totally remote place, this isn’t for you. If you want to get away in a safe awesome place, with plenty of appeal- check out this location. We threw up our tent and felt right at home. We observed owls, rabbits, deer, fish, coyotes, squirrels, so many butterflies, birds, tons of cool insects and a real adorable wiener dog! 10/10 would stay again!

This is an amazing place!!! We plan on heading back as soon as we have a free weekend. Gorgeous atmosphere with large beautiful trees. We were able to fish off the river, enjoy nights by the fire pit. WiFi and laundry access. It is pristine and one of the best vacations we have had in a long time. Close enough to the beach for a day trip! Perfect and serene. We loved it. Thank you!!!

Plan your trip because you won’t regret it!

Had the best time and caught a ton of fish. This was a great get away. Great scenery with some much needed peace and quiet. I look forward to going back again soon. If you’re looking for a great place to set up and camp, fire pits and fishing... this is your spot!

Riverfront rv prk is the most laid back rv park I've ever lived at! And The Owner Mr.Johnny is a really cool dude. He goes above and beyond to make sure his tenant's are happy and comfortable if I could I'd rate the rv prk 10 stars instead of 5:)

Nice quiet atmosphere rite on the River ...I went for a 6 week job and was there for over 10 weeks and enjoyed it. Owner is very responsive to text or calls if any problems arise. If I work in the area again I will definitely come back here.

OK so you ask why did I give this RV park five stars. In my opinion everything is about location location location and this is the location to park your RV in George West Texas. It’s located right off the Nueces River among Pristine Live Oak trees and green lawns. Plenty of shaded lots. There is access to the river from the lit pier and fishing is allowed 24/7. Put your kayak straight in the river near your RV and paddles down some of Texas’s epic waterways leading to Corpus Christi Lake. Amenities include a pavilion, grilling area and a allocated campfire section. Washer and dryer room available and free strong Wi-Fi. Rent is fair with all utilities included. Super Friendly neighbors always willing to lend a hand. Can’t beat that. Check this place out. Oh by the way I’m not the owner. Just a tenant.

My husband and I travel around for work...so we are familiar with rv parks...it has been my life for the last 7 years! Coming to George West..i was a little nervous to find something that would fit for us...what we love is bbq and fishing!!! So we saw that this was on the river...it is perfect! Besides getting to wake up looking at the water it is such a great vibe here. My daughter has made the best of friends already and my new family member Dixie (blue heeler) can not get enough!! So if your coming to this area you have to check it out! 5 stars all the way!!!
