Mazatlan Restaraunt

The other reviews didn't lie. The buffet food is DEEELICIOUS!!!! And the gentleman that took our order was very welcoming and took his time to tell me all the dishes at the buffet. Next time I travel this way Mazatlan is a definite stop on my route.

Once inside the place was spotless clean.

Obviously marinated.
I enjoy the cactus as back home they don’t serve it much. Guacamole had great flavor and home made tortillas were spot on.
The big bowl of beans they gave me were some of the best I’ve had ever.
Honestly this is the best Mexican food joint I’ve rated at in south texas
And I’ve visited a bunch.
Definitely will be back anytime I’m in town for work or passing through

If you’re in George West, give this place a try. I ate at several different places down here while working in the area and this is the best. The staff is very friendly. Even when they are super busy they are attentive to you. They had live music during lunch one day. Their food is on point. It’s authentic and very good. I really enjoy eating there and anytime I’m in the area, I’ll be sure to go back.

GREAT, Great food. I think I saw a buffet as well but, I ordered from the menu. Eggs and barbacoa on the same plate!!!! That has to be the best breakfast plate I've ever ordered for breakfast. Not over priced. I am coming back.

Grabbed some Carne guisada tacos to go. The buffet looked and smelled amazing! Honestly im Pretty tempted to go back for more right now. There was no fat in my tacos unlike most places the whole thing is fat! Definitely recommend 👌

Love this place. As a trucker, have stopped here several times. Buffet ready to go or A La Cart. Everyone is super friendly and attentive (except a young guy thay seems is an owner or manager but won't affect my rating). All waiters are aware of rushes due to bus arrivals and they demonstrate urgency without sacrificing courtesy. It is not on the recomme.dation listed below but try the beef fajita Panchos! WOW. It's for one but can easily make two people full. Delicious

The food is hot the restaurant is clean. Buffet is clean and delicious 😋 our bus Toranado stops on the way to the border. The restrooms are clean. I look forward to this stop when I am coming from GA.

Anytime you go there just ask for Eric and he'll help you. Speaks both English and Spanish just in case for you Spanish speaking customers.
They have a great Buffet from 11am to 2 pm and it's amazing. They have everything from shrimp, fish, chicken, barbeque chicken, French fries, salad fruits such as watermelon, pineapple, grapes, pudding vanilla and chocolate. Rice and beans, tamales, chips and salsa, baked potato with everything on it. Or if you don't want buffet. You can order off the menu like my son does. They have excellent burgers, chicken fried steaks, American food and Mexican food. Just a Great place to eat with your family and get your money's worth.
Again our waiter Eric was very polite and ALWAYS made sure we had everything we needed.

Had Handicap Parking,clean Restrooms. Very Friendly and Helpful to my sister getting my uncle and myself inside being that we are both in Wheelchairs. Customers as well as Waiters rushed to help. Great food and Drinks. It was pretty Busy but were attended great. Thank you very much.

The Tornado bus stops here after crossing the border. The service is top knot the food is fresh and the tamales are to die for love love ❤ 😍

I truly loved the food. I spent a week in Mexico and came back to the best food ever. Wow wasn't expecting that from a little place like that. Very clean too. Bathrooms needed just a bit of attention but I've seen way worse. All in all when traveling again that way I will make sure to definitely stop there for some awesome Mexican food. Loved it.

This is a great spot go eat. I've coming here for about 4 years and I've never been disappointed. The service is great and the wait time is about 10 to 15 minutes with about 4 buses with passengers. Yes I'm a Motor Coach Operator

Just excellent !!! Ordered the parrillada mixed. Loved it, get extra flour tortillas. I love places that just give you whole salsa bottle. Food taste is very authentic Mexican food!!!
