Holiday Inn Express & Suites George West, an IHG Hotel

Front desk was welcoming and acknowledged me as a member when I checked in. My room was clean and comfortable, they just had new air conditioners put in, so that was a plus for me. The weight room was also a plus. I am a coffee drinker and they had coffee available gratis in dining area. Overall I had an enjoyable, comfortable stay and would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel.

We had a change in plans and needed a place to stay in a hurry, I’m glad we stayed here. It was comfortable and for it being a holiday the staff was friendly and helpful. Next time I will just automatically reserve a room for our stay. Thank you Laurie and Gloria for making our stay more comfortable.

The room was clean, and the service was good even after a late check-in after 1 am.

It was clean, smelled fresh and the staff was excellent! Only 2 things I would do differently is there was no gravy to go with the biscuits this morning and the room temp was not adjustable. Although it was still comfortable.

Upon arriving from Mexico, we reserved this hotel as we were bone tired from a 12 hour bus trip. The front desk worker was professional and gave us our room key right away. The room was perfect for a family of 5. Breakfast was good but I forgot it was a week day and it was done by 9:30. Overall very nice stay.

I had a super horrible day as my job considers loads of traveling. This is the first time I've been to Texas and as hot as it was I didn't want to be aggravated. Anyways, As I came into into this Hotel this girl up front has such an uplifting beautiful wonderful attitude. She not only helped me but very much reminded me of home where everyone was soo kind. I believe it was Garcia? Dana Garcia? Anywho, thank you for making my stay soo pleasant, will be recommending.

After having the worst experience at a different hotel in George West, we chose to stay somewhere else for our 2nd night in Texas. My sister and I decided to come here to Holiday Inn, instead. This place serviced us SO WELL. I explained to them my poor experience somewhere else, & Lori offered to price drop our stay. Everything about our stay here was fabulous. We got joined hotel rooms, so 3 beds total. Our beds were so comfortable and very spacious. The pool and patio was super clean and enjoyable. They gave us breakfast and even a free soda for my kiddo, which he thought "Lori was the best!" because of that. Unfortunately, i did not get any photos of this beautiful hotel, but this will ALWAYS be our go to each and every visit we make to George West unless we choose to do an air bnb. Thank you Lori for making me one happy guest. You did our family so well. I appreciate you!

This Hotel room "pillows was like sleeping on cotton candy" is what my daughter said. Clean clean room. The clerk Corryn who was new did a great job! AC was good, fridge, microwave and fridge all worked. Even a blow drier. Loved the shower items. The pool was cold!

Great stay. I stayed for 3 nights last weekend for a wedding. The room was a very nice size and spotlessly clean. The bed and bedding were wonderfully comfy. The staff was friendly and professional. The hotel was full due to the wedding so they scheduled additional staff; I could leave the hotel at 9:30 or so and come back for something before noon and the housekeeping was already completed. Every day. Breakfast included some nice protein choices and was kept well stocked. I didn't even go in there the first morning because so many hotels only have breads/carbs/sweets so I was thrilled to find sausage and eggs in there! The pool area was very clean and relaxing. Wifi was reliable. I could go on and on but what you really need to know is that you are very welcomed and comfortable at this hotel and I most definitely recommend staying here.

I want to thank Sam the hotel manager and the staff that helped a friend of mine in need. My friend was apparently in a bad situation and was being abused. The manager kindly took the initiative to reach out and help her. She was wondering the hallways hungry and confused. She had been thrown from her boyfriends room who denied even knowing her. My friend suffers from mental issues and im so grateful that the manager Sam noticed she was struggling in distress and he reached out and helped her . If it not been for his acts of love and kindness i honestly dont know where shed be today!

This was a really nice, quiet property with two really nice staff members that we dealt with. Our room was really clean, and everything worked great. No complaints other than the breakfast menu was a bit lacking as compared to many other places we have stayed, but all in all it was a pleasant experience!

Got in from a 16 hour drive from Mexico. Super tired. Me and my family were looking for a place to rest. All towns we went or called were rude or just didn't answer bells or front desk calls. Talk about inconvenient. This place is great I thank God this lady at front desk is alert and ready to do her job. Thankyou so much. Me and my family got out of foggy road thanks to you attending front desk! Only 3 hours to get to our home bit couldn't drive any more.

The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming! Room was clean, one small issue but was taken care of right away! I have to say from checking in to breakfast and check out was A+! Great job!

Great hotel. Came back from a long trip from Mexico. Checked in at 4:30 am after the bus dropped us off. Catch up with our sleep.

We've been staying in this Hotel for weeks because of Hurricane Harvey the staff has bent over backwards to accommodate all of our needs to makes us feel at home as possible , the manager is polite he has been allowing church groups bring in food so we can have a hot meal for Dinner he has also contributed to this fact and with a heavy heart I would everyone to know this Hotel has 10 stars in my eyes my God bless everyone working here.

Great place and great staff from John the GM. Cynthia,Raven, to Rosie and her house keeper staff.. Place was very neat and tidy,quite with a nice relaxing pool area.. We WOULD stay here again..

Awesome customer service from calling in to reserve a room till we were leaving. Room was very clean and nice and cold how we like it. Will be back

They give an excellent service and it's very clean. The food is very good. It has a good quality. The gym is too small but it has the necessary to workout.

This hotel is worth mainly for the manager, who really helped me and made my travel way better. Thank you very much for everything Sam.
