Gator Waders

Some of the best money I've ever spent. Service was excellent and the waders are comfortable and the jackets are extremely warm & comfortable also. My next purchase will be some water boots.

I was in the market for youth waders for my daughter and saw these online. I was shocked to find out that this is a local company in Tyler, TX right down the street from me. Customer service in the store was great! Product selection was good, waders, boots, jackets, etc... These waders look like great quality and my daughter is excited to try them in the field. My next waders will be Gator waders.

Let me say that I currently have a pair of waders that are about 5 years old have held up great. So, I purchased knee boots. Wore them once, and they had a hole. No biggie reached out to customer service and learned how terrible they were. Order a second pair after returning the original purchaser since Gator told me I was responsible for shipping back to them.I figured it was bad luck on first pair the second pair also had a hole. Customer service told me again to ship brand new boots back to them on my dime. They told me it was Industry standard, keen and ariat have warranted boots that were nearly a year old and paid for return shipping. I really wish I could support a texas based company, but your customer service reminds me of The Biden Whitehouse.

Extremely disappointed with the customer service at Gator Waders.. I placed an order Thursday night (Thanksgiving) needing a size 11 regular wader. I get email confirmation that says size 8… I called Friday and was greeted with a voicemail saying they were closed for the holiday- I totally get that. Then receive an email a few moments later, “your order has shipped.” I click the tracking number and it just said the label was created. Called and spoke with Amber, she said the order is awaiting pickup but they are unable to pull the order and switch the size, although the order is in the warehouse still. Now, I have to wait and receive the size 8, pay an arm and leg to ship back the order and hope I can get it exchanged for the correct size. I was told that there is low stock in the size/pattern we need so I could always purchase them in the size 11; which was in my cart but they have an issue with the website defaulting to a size 8, pay to return the 8 and hope I get a refund in a timely manner. I don’t understand why an order that is not shipped cannot be adjusted. Wishing we went with another brand…

Customer service is garbage! They wouldn’t cancel an order I put in 30 seconds beforehand, causing me to pay shipping to receive the item in the first place AND to send it back because I couldn’t cancel the order! What a scam. The overall quality of the items has become less and less and considering how much money we have pooled into purchases through this company you would think that they would be a little more considerate and understanding of their customers— won’t be spending money here anymore.

Terrible customer service. Extremely high shipping cost compared to the industry and what other things cost to have shipped to you. I call and try to arrange for pickup at the warehouse. Am told you have 36 hours from the time you place the order to pick up your items. Once again terrible customer service.
