Beach Park At Isla Blanca

This is an amazing park. The website has most of the information needed to plan a visit and reviews below about purchasing family packs and bringing your own food are very helpful. I wanted to write about how accessible it is for visitors who need wheelchair accessibility. The park has Cabana rentals and a good number of these (#5-#20 verify online in case number changes) are fully accessible and are close to the river with river access. Proximity to the water helps to keep the temperature cooler inside the Cabana. If interested in renting one, you can reserve it online. The staff was very helpful and there are plenty of activities for the entire family to do. My family had a wonderful time.

Spent the day at the Beach Park waterpark. Really enjoyed all the water tube rides. The lazy river is not your typical style, it has twists and turns and rapids, making it super fun! The surf rider was a hit with the kids. Super clean park. A bonus is the cabanas with the bbq’s.

Excellent family environment. Tickets are a little more than $50 for adults and $40 for younger kids. You can buy online. If you get there early; you can always find a picnic table to set up your ice chest and rest between water rides. They do charge extra for taking in an ice chest, but it's well worth it. However, you must have someone watch over your belongings while you are in the water. Otherwise, they have lockers. They charge $25 for the entire day. You can bring all kinds of food except glass containers and/or alcohol. We've been here a few times this summer, and we have a blast every time. I recommend staying on the river if the lines are too long for the wild slides. Otherwise, you and your companion might get fussy by waiting times. We waited a little more than one hour on one of those rides. The river has a drop that entertains every age, so there is no need to wait on those lines.

What an awesome water park! My family and I spent our time over the summer in south Padres and I've never been to a water park like this. Absolutely had a blast! I loved the sand castle theme kids play area, food and drinks are fabulous giant play area and sand place for kids of all ages. An all day experience and we didn't want to leave that's how amazing this place is. Recommend spending an entire day to play at this waterpark you'll definitely have a great time!

I read lots of reviews before our visit here, and got a little nervous so I had to share about our experience. First, I found the park (including bathrooms) to be very clean. Employees were friendly and helpful, food was good, there were plenty of tubes, and all the rides except one were open. The thing that really makes this water park the best I've been to is the fact that you can ride almost all the rides without ever getting out of the water! We loved the fact that the entrances to the rides are right off the lazy river.. if you don't feel like waiting in lines, have a blast on the rapids part of the river - we sure did! had a great time with my staff. we got a cabana and it always is a big hit. We were able to bring our own drinks and sandwiches which is really cool. next time i think we will rent out a palapa so we can use the grill. we only went on one ride because all the lines were long. we were happy taking the lazy river and stopping off to get some drinks at the pool bar. i feel like the bar needs more types of liquor. some of my guys dont like the tropical drinks and were looking for whiskey drinks and the selection was slim.

the only negative that i felt was the waitress at the cabana was extremely slow. we got there at 11 when the park opened and didnt get a drink until after 12. the service was way to slow.

i have been to Disney. Myrtle beach and many other resort towns on both the east and west cost. This the best small town resort attraction. food is better than Disneys. Lazy river isnt lazy at all. its exciting and has mulitiple activities. excellent job. We are locals who will be buying a season pass.

This was the season opener this weekend! Love it! I highly recommend either getting the island passes or if you don't plan on going alot make sure and rent a cabana to avoid the crowds. Definitely planning on going every weekend in summer.

Our 1st time here!. Brought our family here for vacation!. We absolutely had a blast!. The roller coaster water slides were so much fun we all had our favorite!. The lazy river was pretty amazing as well!. Thier is Alot to do for every age! We definitely want to come back!. I wish I got more pictures of all the slides though!.

A cute, clean, secluded beach at the southernmost part of the great state of Texas. We went fishing on the jetties during the day and beach fishing during the night. We got to play with a little blue crab and caught a ton of fishes. Definitely a good fishing spot or great for simply relaxing on the sandy beach soaking up the rays.

I'm not rating the food, though there were several options. I found it relaxing to float all day, we had a really good time. Only half the river was open due to post-season staffing cuts but they have showers and changing rooms. There was plenty of seating, all the tables had umbrellas but we managed to find a shady spot near the main entrance. They have lockers in 3 sizes but that's an additional expense, $12 to $20 dollars. Everyone leaves their stuff at the tables and we didn't have a problem, though I would leave any valuables at home. Also, there's a $7 charge to bring in a cooler with ice - we brought our own food and drinks. I saw some people had liquor - not sure if they brought it in or purchased it there.
I will say it seemed a bit pricey but there was adequate staff, the restrooms and tables were clean. One last suggestion: put your little ones in life vests - I had to witness a man fall off a tandem inner tube, try to get back on while holding his kid. Naturally they both went under a little further down the "rapids"; cue upset, half-drowned kid. It's not super deep but kids can't touch bottom.

My toddler loved the inside park, plenty of tables and shade. I love that I am able to bring in whatever we need for my picky eater. the staff was amazing, always watching kids on the pool and the cleaning crew was very prompt in cleaning up any big messes.

Went august of 23 for the first time and we had a really good time. My 7 and 3 year old loved it. The food was delicious and the drinks were strong! We look forward to going back.

We truly enjoyed ourselves here! It's not a large waterpark, but it was so much fun. We also rode on the ziipline they have there, it was fun as well. Nothing big, but a nice experience. Food was good, especially the loaded funnel cakes!! They're a must try.

Purchased 2 day pass and had a great time with 3 yr old grandson. Also met family at resort and hung out with them. Their accommodations were nice but only had 1 bathroom for room for 8 people.

This place is great! Our family had so much fun. We were there from opening till close. We planned ahead and bought our tix online plus a meal plan. We could've skipped the latter, though. It only saved a few bucks and only had 3 options to choose from. We also didn't need to get a cabana but we did. I think if you go on a weekday, you don't need one. There are plenty of shaded areas towards the back of the park. I also saw plenty of coolers on wagons - that's a pro tip that I wish I had. Pay the $12 fee per cooler and bring all the drinks and snacks you want. Anyway, the park is clean, the staff is friendly, and the slides are fun. Really can't wait to go back!!!

We visited the park July 24th and 25th 2023. All the rides were working. Our family enjoyed the park. I suggest that you get the 4 ticket bundle. It includes one meal per person. Loved the experience!

Was fun, had a great time. Prices are somewhat fair. Got super busy and packed with people but nonetheless it's a great place to take your family and have an awesome time.

Great host for the sPI Marathon and expo, we were accommodated and the staff were very professional. At ease for all who were present on the grounds, and they were attentive to our every need when needed. Parking was made easy with the use of the parking permit too!!
