Empire Coffee

Such a great coffee shop, and a safe spot for folk of all walks of life. The coffee is delicious - highly recommend the lavender latte, any of their hot teas, OR if you're feeling spicy you should get their espresso over ice with some heavy cream or half and half, it's good enough to drink just like that - and the environment is so welcoming. Particularly queer-friendly, which is always good. Go here! It's great.

I wish I had reason to visit Superior more often as Empire Coffee would be a regular stop for me.
I ordered a 12 ounce SF vanilla latte with two shots. It was quickly made and was tasty.
The space is large with a lot of tables to hang out. Chill and inviting vibe.

Excellent sandwiches and good coffee. Cool old downtown building feel. Could be a bit more cozy but the friendly baristas were great and handled the mini-rush with poise.

Wonderful, quaint little coffee shop! Aryana was so nice, and the coffee and food was delicious! A lovely spot to stop and get some work done.

I tried their breakfast sandwich with vegetarian sausage. It was wonderful! I also ordered some tea and was very happy that they offered a caffeine free option and honey.

One of the newer coffee establishments in Superior with a lot of character and much to recommend about it. Personally I enjoy their London Fog. Great artwork gets highlighted here along with plenty for people to see and do. I hope they keep at it. Would definitely write a poem about many of the drinks I've had here.

Easily the best tasting Coffee anywhere in the Twin Ports. And the service matches the amazing coffee.

I love this place! Locally roasted coffee, brewed perfectly in a women owned establishment. Everything I've tried has been fantastic. The service is fantastic. The atmosphere is fantastic.

The vibe is completely local. The shop is filled with local art that includes paintings, woodwork, photography, books, music, and more. I've never been more impressed. And everything is so clean! If you haven't tried it already, run out and do so now because you don't know what you're missing.

What a great place to calm down. Artwork is not only gorgeous it's for sale too.

I like the atmosphere. I like the fact they sell local art; they're a staple coffee shop with a good product, though I haven't tried much there. The staff is friendly. Comfortable place to write/catch up on class work with your laptop. All around exactly what you would want and expect from a coffee shop.

We found the shop to be very gorgeous in it's old building that's been nicely renovated. They have great and kind service, along with a beautiful art gallery if you fancy looking around rather than sitting down to talk amongst your friends and family at perfectly-sized coffee tables. Speaking of the coffee, it might take a minute in order to get some, but it is definitely worth the wait, having it freshly made rather than fabricated like some fast-food restaurants.

My go-to coffee shop on Tower Avenue in Superior. Decent coffee and Chai tea in a cool, big, old building. Free wifi. Everything I need!

Absolute favorite local coffee shop!! I come in here before work all the time, and the staff is always super friendly and makes great drinks! The owner, Aryana, is amazing and great to have a quick conversation with while waiting for your drink. The prices are great too! While it’s always expected that you’ll be paying a bit more for the quality of a local establishment rather than a chain, the prices are still kept very reasonable, which leaves me with extra money to tip. :) They also feature local artists and photographers on their walls, all available to buy. 100% recommend to anyone who loves coffee, tea, or just wants a nice place to meet with friends.

vibes. cool place that makes you want to sit and read the autobiography of a long forgotten naval captain. stopped by leaving twin ports for some coffee not from a chain, not disappointed. looked like there was only one woman working but she was still patient with us taking a second to look at the menu. good drinks that’ll match the price of your dunkin’ order with a friendlier hometown feel on top.

Empire is a very relaxing place for coffee. I love the photos by Joe Polecheck. The staff were very nice young ladies. This is the first time I have been here, and I will definitely be back.
