Have had our insurance since 2013. Very easy and pleasant to work with. Rates have been fair with no huge increases. Not all companies are willing to work with you like this one. More than just a number here!

We had a tractor fire and the caring staff handled it quickly and easily.

we filed a claim with this company, after we had a hail storm. Our house got damaged and they sent an appraiser to inspect the damages on the house. The Appraiser told us he doesn't see any damages. We called a company to come inspect the house after the storm which they sent a clear report to the appraiser and he started being unprofessional calling us not serious on our claim and that he has been doing the job for 30 years and said to us that because nobody else's house was damaged that the damages on our house were not from the storm. After a whole lot of going back and forth trying to make him understand that the damages were actually there, he decided to offer us $2000 to fix the damages which were clearly more than what he offered, than he mentioned to us that someone he knew could ix the damages on the house for that price and that we could contact him. We contacted the person he so called "Knew" and that business owner had no clue who he was and told us that nobody he knows would fix these damages. We had our insurance agent contact the company directly and a manager at Columbus Mutual did not help and decided to back the appraiser.

We are gonna have to switch insurance companies to work with.
Very Unprofessional and disrespectful.

If I could give zero stars, I would honestly. I don't recommend anybody to work with them.

Been with them for 30 years with 1 or 2 very minor claims suddenly an Inspector showed up at my door unannounced for an inspection since he "heard " of a wedding barn venue being contacted in our Barn. Which is true however, we already had another coverage for that business and are not operational until May 1st . Ask him to leave until I could get this sorted out with Columbus mutual however, he proceeded to go into our privat property and take pictures. Went outside ask him again to leave and he claim there was a misunderstanding when I ask him at my door to leave ? I contacted my agent and he stated he would look into it.
Left for Vacation and upon our return on 03/28 had a letter from Col. Mutual notice of cancelation ( we were under contract until 06/29/18)
with numerous " Policy conditions which are unfounded and incorrect reasons and there are outright stating we were lying to them!

Poor service. Trying to impose certain state building codes on a personal property.
