Holiday Inn Chicago North-Evanston, an IHG Hotel

Great location and easy parking. The room was very clean and had a nice view. Contrary to what it says on Expedia, there is no free breakfast or parking. The parking is $18 a night. The free breakfast and free parking that was advertised on Expedia influenced my decision to stay here, but nevertheless, it was a nice hotel and the location is right by everything.

Very nice hotel. Reasonable prices, high quality rooms-recently renovated. Close walking distance to lots of food, shops, and upscale dispensary. Breakfast served here better than expected. Thank you for an affordable luxury stay!

Been staying here for a few days, most employees are super nice and give awesome service, one was a little rude. But I also work in the tourism industry and I know some days are also hard on us. Overall this place is perfect and has reasonable prices.

The property and room were clean and appeared to be recently updated. It’s conveniently located near many restaurants and stores. Just a short walk from the el. Would definitely stay here again!

The staff here is fabulous! Massina is the best, she saved my tail. I called for a reservation while driving, I called this specific location but the person booked me in Wyoming instead of Illinois, Massina said this was second time in two days. Not only did she get me in a room, she also canceled my incorrect reservation with no charge to me. When I return to Chicago area this will be where I'm staying. Thank you Massina.

It was a nice experience. Better than average Holiday Inn in a nice neighborhood,which seems to be great for a long term stay too.

We love the location of this hotel and have stayed here several times. Roger at the front desk is super friendly and very accommodating. He is always there (he needs a day off!) and is more than helpful. Our room's door ended up not locking for some reason and Layla from engineering/maintenance came right up and fixed it. Layla was very pleasant and did a great job! We appreciate this hotel and the wonderful service they provide. Thank you!

Great location in downtown Edison. Rooms are a bit tired. Service staff were a little discombobulated. Rooms are reasonably sized, clean and quiet. October 22 update: I made it a reservation for some other hotel in January and they were closed when I arrived. In a panic during homecoming weekend for Northwestern University, I called the Holiday Inn, and Hamid very graciously had a room for four nights for me! At a reasonable price! THANK YOU!!!

My stay was great! The rooms are very spacious with floor to ceiling windows. The room also had a fridge AND microwave. Nice smelling complimentary shampoos, lotion, etc. Nice little Keurig for morning coffee as well. Both my room and the parts of the hotel I explored were very clean. All of the staff were friendly and professional. Cameron at the front desk was especially helpful and professional from the very beginning all the way until the end of my stay. I am very thankful for his excellent customer service, true asset to their company. I will for sure be back

In town for a sad occasion , a memorial service for a close friend. The evening desk staff person, Tigist, was outstanding in all ways! Her welcome was warm. While accomplishing all the checkin tasks efficiently, she offered kind sympathy and took time to invite us to share our story. Roger, the daytime desk person, was another welcoming efficient person. He quickly responded to any needs, including assuring us that we were welcome to relax in the (very nice) lobby lounge after checking out and that our car could remain parked free of charge until 5p. Checkout is 11am. Also breakfast is a hot and delicious buffet while real plates and silverware. There is an upcharge for it but is actually worth the price.

The staff at the Holiday Inn Holiday Inn Chicago-North Evanston were a pure delight to work with! Moreover, Krystal the Sales Director and the entire hotel staff were phenomenal! Our group had a wonderful stay there and the Holiday Inn team ensured we weren’t in need of anything. Everyone we encountered was friendly, helpful, and impressively accommodating. A special shout out to Roger as well! Overall, the location is perfect, rooms were nice and the upkeep of the property was wonderful. Whenever we’re back in the Chicago area, we will DEFINITELY be staying at Holiday Inn Chicago-North Evanston.

This was a nice affordable stay. The rooms were clean and well furnished with a recent renovation. One of the parking ramps was unfortunately steep, almost unusable to low cars (doubly so during winter). It was also relatively close to some nice food options at a train station. However the trains were audible, but not too disruptive. Overall a good bargain and good location.

Me and my family had a great time here! good breakfast, cozy rooms and free wifi! the parking was a bit of a problem but other than that it was great. the staff was really nice to us and was always there to help. i really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. 5/5 rating!

I used this hotel’s executive boardroom for an all day meeting. Krystal, the sales leader, was amazing to work with and accommodated a last minute change on our end. I will use the Holiday Inn again next time I’m in town. (And shout out to the free apple cider in the lobby!!!)

The staff were super helpful, friendly and went above and beyond to ensure that I had a pleasurable stay. My room was extremely clean,had amazing amenities, beautiful view of the city and the beds were so comfy that I slept like a baby! My overall experience here was just terrific and I will definitely stay here again! Also, thanks to Karen and the other lady at the front desk (I didn’t get her name) and Sam for being so great at their jobs and just really kind people.

It was a very peaceful and comfortable stay. The room was clean and the bedding was really fresh! At the front desk Mary was very helpful and courteous. John the manager was extremely pleasant to talk with. Even through these stressful times, it was a great experience at a reasonable price and walkable location. Nice view of Downtown Evanston too!

I am always in and out of Chicago and try to stay at this location when I can. Lots of good food and shops nearby and not too far from the Northwestern campus. Great price, and check-in is always fast and straightforward. One aspect that stood out during this visit was their new receptionist, Tigist. Super friendly and upbeat even when I had a late night check-in that night due to travel delays. Highly recommend!

Very comfortable bed. Lots of amenities included. There is a breakfast/dinner restaurant in the hotel, but it fills up for weekend brunch. The window unit heater was a bit loud, and I could hear the trains a few blocks away, but neither was terrible. The coffee maker was a keurig, so, I allowed maid service daily to get the supplies refilled, even though I didn't really need anything else. Very professional and helpful staff. Great location for visiting Northwestern University.

Got a good deal that included breakfast. Had a long wait at the front desk checking in but the staff were helpful. Room was clean, spacious, and well equipped. Free WiFi was fast.
Good location in downtown Evanston, a nice walk to Northwestern and the trains.
Hot breakfast buffet on the weekends. Restaurant service was really good. When I asked for no toast or potatoes, because it was more than I could eat, the server helpful offered a bowl of fresh fruit as an alternative. Reasonably priced, huge, tasty entrees.
I didn't try the dinner items but the menu looked great.
