Daisy's Diner Country Store

I've been meaning to stop in here for years and finally did today. It is wonderful. We started with house made onion rings, fried pickles, and mozzarella sticks. Excellent onion Rings. I had the fork tender chicken fried steak and she the chicken tenders. The sides, of fresh mashed potatoes and mustard greens were perfect. Fresh housemade cream gravy was seasoned well and didn't even need black pepper. Savory cornbread, not that sweet stuff...
My only regret was getting the hush puppies, found out after we were done eating that, they too are housemade. I will be back, so I will get them.

We have been here several times ! Everything is great ! So far Kendall and Catherine have waiting on us and done a great job 👏 the food is sooo good ! I'm addicted to the pork chops and their fish melts in your mouth !

OMG! Delicious! Catfish fillets fresh and huge. The butter milk and chocolate pies just as delicious as my mom's. The owner Elisabeth and our waitress Cayla were the best. If you're in Riverside/Trinity Texas you must stop and have a meal here.

Love everything about this place. It's exactly what you look for in a small town american diner. The food is always on point and the staff is wonderful and very attentive. Prices are low for the quality and service. I would and do recommend this to anyone looking for a great experience. Can't wait to go back.

This is my second time here, but it's definitely not my last. The food is so good and desserts are to die for. I got the pecan cobbler and my husband gets the buttermilk pie. Kid friendly and everyone is always so nice. Highly recommend

Got take out, we got the dirty hairy x2, fried mushrooms and pickles and it was delicious! Girl at the counter was the sweetest! Definitely coming back

Came here for a what turned out to be one of the best lunches I've ever had. Place was pretty busy, but service didn't show it at all. Food was great and dessert was even better! Huge portion sizes and incredible pricing to match.

Small town charm and really good food. I had liver & onions and buttermilk pie for dessert. The attached store was small but I was I still able pick up a loaf of homemade pumpkin bread. Not lot of parking but again small place in a town of less than 600 people.

This was one of the most surprising places I've ever enjoyed. It didn't look like much, but the chicken tenders were some of the best I've ever had, along with the onion rings. My entire group ate everything, all of us discussing how great the food was and how good the portions were.

Food was good. Chicken liver was way overcooked but everything else including the service was GREAT

Great food at a good price, love the Big Edna! The chicken fried steak is tender and flavorful!

I ordered the chef salad with grilled chicken and they brought a side plate of chicken and the salad was loaded. And reasonable prices.

First time visit - can't wait to go again and try something different! The fried catfish and hush puppies were to die for!! Fresh, crispy, fresh grease (you can tell!) Outstanding onion rings, wonderful grilled yellow squash - sorry I was too full for dessert!!
