West Virginia State Farm Museum

It was an interesting museum to walk around and see. It was quaint and while we were there, the person who came out to greet us and let us know everything going on was nice and informative. If you're looking for a quiet and historical walk, this place is great. You get to see some pretty interesting things. If you go, please consider donating to the museum. They've put cash boxes out in a few areas, so please be kind and donate to their museum.

Really great place for some history. Make sure to visit the bauer building to see some really great local history from his collection. Taxidermy and gun lovers will really appreciate this place and how incredible of a guy Christmas bauer was. Make sure to bring some cash for donations because that's what keeps places like this alive.

I love this place, it is a great historical place to bring the family to learn about west Virginia in my opinion

The West Virginia State Farm Museum is a worthwhile destination that pays homage to an old-time community with an antique tractor display, church, blacksmith shop, log houses, and many other community buildings. General, the world's largest stuffed horse is also here.

My first time walking thru the buildings and looking at all of the doctor's implements of era's gone by and all of the other objects in the other buildings and I brought my granddaughter with me and showed and explained what the objects were and what they were used for and my mother-in-law who was born in Virginia in the 30's moved to Point Pleasant 50 yrs ago, had even more interesting information she shared with us. Greatly enjoyed our visit. Looking forward to Christmas lights this year at the Farm Museum.

Amazing exhibits! Very knowledgeable staff. I really enjoy the atmosphere. There is a lot of work going on to make the site even better for visitors. A great place for school and homeschool field trips.

Awesome! Went to see the Christmas lights. Went inside for some cookies & hot chocolate and the boys visited with Santa & Mrs. Claus. Mrs Claus then read Twas the night before Christmas as all the kids gathered around to listen. Loved it!❤🎅🤶

We had fun looking around. We came here kinda as a day trip and we enjoyed ourselves. Everyone was nice who worked there too!

Great place to spend a afternoon.

This was the highlight of our trip. We took a guided tour. It was amazing. Historical artifacts that we all enjoyed.

Loads of wonderful antiques and artifacts presented without explanation or staging, just the way we like it.

One of my favorite places near home. Love the new addition they added, go check it out!

Great place for family gatherings! And a good place to recapture childhood memories. Exhibits are well worth the drive.

Very cool place to go and walk around. Went for a Gravely swap meet and it was very nice location.

It's like walking around an old town. Lots of cool historical buildings and items to look at. They offer hayride too.

This place is pretty neat and they have the world's largest horse stuffed if I remember right. Its huge

Everyone that loves history..needs to visit this place. It's free..and very entertaining

Even on opening day it was interesting. I can't wait till it's in full swing later in the season
