I work across the street, it's convenient to walk over and get groceries. A small market with a good butcher and surprising variety. Lots of foreign snacks and deserts. I often find good deals on chicken and fresh fruit.

Best produce in the area, always friendly staff around to help. Great selection of international foods. Just make sure to take your time as you browse the isles. Lots of hidden gems.

The right products, the fresh vegetables and meats allways avaliable.

Great produce reasonable prices nice people work there

I have been coming to Market Place on Oakton for the past few months and I am so glad that I found this store. They have a great selection of produce and meats, as well as some Spanish foods that are hard to find in other stores. The store is very neat and clean with lots of space to move around in.

The staff here is helpful. The selection remarkably good for the size of the store. Produce is excellent. They run a good deli department (although I was sad to see the Boar's Head products gone). With the exception of the meats, pricing is competitive. If I were to criticize on aspect of the store, it would be the meats. The quality is far below the price point, and I have had some really mealy chicken from this store (and no longer buy poultry here as a result). All in all, this is a terrific store with a reasonably diverse international food selection, great produce, and it is clean and well-kept.

This is the very best produce market and all-around grocery store in the near north suburbs. The produce is fresh, abundant, and well priced. The store is clean and spacious. There are items you can find nowhere else. The shopping experience is pleasant from start to finish. The cashiers are efficient and friendly. I always look forward to shopping here. I enjoy it so much that I ask neighbors what they need so that I have a reason to come more often.

Great market that has a smaller selection, but a quality section. Pretty much the best small market in my area. The store has fresh produce and good staff. Never overly busy and easy to find what you need.

Really lovely small international grocery store, with EXCELLENT prices on produce and an impressive meat section. You might not find certain specialty items here (I had to go elsewhere for things like bonito flakes, dried kelp, dried anchovies...), but their selection is still impressive, and the prices (especially on produce) are great. I was excited to see things like pork belly, pig feet, and chicken backs for sale here that other people complained about not being able to find anywhere.

This is my absolute favorite grocery store in the world. (I've lived in multiple countries, so that means something!) Fruits and vegetables of wide variety for good prices; great deli counter with amazing olives, fetas, etc, lots of local breads, and more. And the employees are so so kind. Very generous with my children (slices of meet meat, candy, etc). This place is the best.

Love love love!! Go go go! Shelves stacked and perfect no matter when with any thing and everything you could possibly want! The best produce of every kind, butcher meats, deli, cheeses.... and everyone is always so pleasant!! Love this place!!!!

This is a fantastic grocery store. There is a huge selection of affordable fresh fruit and vegetables. There is a wonderful deli with high quality options. The aisles are stocked with both American and foreign food options. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This is my favorite grocery store!

Love this place with all of it's stuffed shelves of international goods and it's large produce section with it's neighborhood feel because of it's smaller size. Your in and out in no time and staff remembers your preferences. For us, they remember the samples my kids like to try every time in the deli section and that we don't want plastic bags. Its close to bus and train but also has a large parking lot. Go give it a try!

Great produce, deli, and general shopping, for neighborhood store. Produce is quality, store is clean, deli very complete, including many Greek specialties.

Btw, update, they always have great fresh basil for a reasonable price. I make my own Pesto.

The deli counter is great - excellent selections including Boar's Head (I have gluten allergies and appreciate the selection) - low prices - wonderful, friendly, customer oriented personnel. The cashiers are extremely fast - any lines move quickly. Interesting and comprehensive produce section. The produce and shelves are always being restocked.

Best place to get different varieties of food and culture. but also get my deli meat there, the deli department rocks, you have a question they have an answer they have recipes they also can help out different languages so don't be shy if you speak Spanish they got you Greek and I think a couple more I love market place!!

Top notch grocery store! Friendly store. Very helpful staff. International groceries. They even carry dulce de leche, an Argentine favourite. Meat and fish are excellent. Cheeses are good. Lots of ice cream brands. Reasonable prices.

Good store ! I just love shopping here! Very friendly employees and large selectons of foods from all over the world. Excellent grocery store! Very fresh produce! Dairy and meat department are very good. They sell organic goods. The best time to shope here is on Friday and Saturday. If you want to get the best price on ground lam then com in the morning. Meat here is always fresh. All the foods in this store is fresh and good. I Love this store!

They have a great selection of fruit and vegetables, their prices are quite reasonable and they have a wide selection of international ingredients spanning all types of cuisine
