Delightful dishes. The second time I have been there. The chicken enchiladas were like no other that I've ever had and highly recommend. The margaritas were happy hour but very weak, but when asked, they brought a shot to add to it.

Met some friends for a birthday party, They easily accommodated for a group of 12. Everyone loved their food. Drinks were unique and delicious. Our bartender had a great vibe. He even brought drinks (on the house) and a piece of flan for the birthday's. Highly recommend

The food was absolutely delicious! My daughter ordered mole enchiladas, she truly enjoyed them. I ordered the molcajete with a mixture of grilled shrimp, steak chicken, cactus and grilled cheese in a scrumptious sauce….and WOW!! My michelada was also so tasty!! Plates were plentiful in quantity, quality and very reasonably priced. Another huge plus was the customer service, the lady was very sweet, accommodating and checked on us. In fact, two cooks also came out to check on the food and if we needed anything else. The location of the restaurant is in the beautiful Riverside downtown, very busy, vibrant and seemingly full with satisfied customers, as restaurant was very busy. I highly recommend!!

One of the best restaurants in Chicago and Chicago Suburbs that have delicious Mexican food. The food itself tasted fresh but you definitely can tell the beans and rice are fresh. Will come again

The best tacos I had in a long time. The carne asada tacos and the quesabirria were out of this world. The staff could not be nicer, super friendly. The restaurant inside is pretty cool but the cherry on top is the patio. They have music going on and it is full of plants, really cute and good vibe.

Good was amazing and super fresh! The drinks are delicious. Will definitely be returning.

I just got here and I’m all for the FRESH warm salsa and homemade chips.
As a Latina that had Mexican food growing up 24/7, the details are what counts. Great patio as well, thank you La Estancia!

Very very delicious....my husband got the pozole and I got the enchiladas in mole. Sosososos amazing! We live a couple minutes away and will be coming back for sure.

The food is fantastic & servings are generous. They even have Mexican drinks & frozen deserts! The decor is a fantastic swirl of color & festivity. You cannot help but feel positve vobes in thos place!

The food was delicious! I’m not a big fan of mole, but this one was sooo yummy! the drinks are amazing, you just have to order one! the staff is very kind and lovely! el ambiente está lindo y la comida está deliciosa! i totally recommend!

Oh so good after a long week, crazy Sangria is x3 volume and strong, fantastic dishes

Charming and quaint little place with some classic down home Mexican ambience. Nice menu choices and the prices are fair for the quantity. The cuisine is authentic and everything is fresh and homemade. Our food came out in a timely fashion. Very tasty and filling. The staff was friendly and kind, attentive and prompt service. We were very pleased and will patronize this establishment again. Thank you!!!!

Went for a hike and worked up an appetite. Tried out la estancia, patio was dog friendly. When we got our food, wow!. I had a steak gordita, the steak was so tender and well seasoned. The enfrijoladas, delicious. Chicken and veggie tacos- sooo good!
It’s a low key place with a nice view and super yummy. Prices are great too and would definitely recommend this place!

Great food and excellent (strong, delicious, and large) margaritas. Had their chicken enchiladas which were phenomenal from any angle. The salsa verde is delicious and super mild/zingy. The prices are reasonable for the food and portions, only complaint is that some items don't have the price listed on the paper menu (i.e. the margaritas at $12.99). Overall excellent - highly recommended.

I had the steak, ground beef and Al pastor tacos and each was fantastic! Even brought home the cactus and mushroom tacos that were devoured! Definite favorite place for tacos! Small and sweet little place with just as sweet workers!

I love La Estancia! I live right down the street and it is the perfect little place to go meet friends and have a great meal. It’s basically like your moms kitchen, every thing tastes authentically amazing! The drinks are out of this world! Some times the meals are a but slower than your average take it and run taco place, but this is not your average taco joint! I love the outdoor seating in the summer!
