Exceptionally friendly staff. Excellent food for the price. Worth the drive.

Outstanding customer service that deserves more than five stars. Homemade potato salad and cole slaw with the Friday fish specials. Gorgeous sunset over Lake Emily. Park-like grounds with wonderful old-growth trees.
History from their brochure:
"In the spring of 1852, young John Schaumburg built a mansion modelled after his ancestral von Schaumburg castle in Germany." The full account of the place's history is absolutely fascinating.
This place has been a part of my family's history for at least three generations that I know of. My grandparents went to dances when there was a dance hall upstairs. Simply the best.

Great steak and broasted chicken. Friendly, efficient service.

Cons: Felt rushed. Never offered dessert. No credit cards.

👍Wonderful WI supper club-Fri. nite really busy but always room for you at the bar (experienced bar tenders!) and/or dining room(s)! 😊 Great service, adequate staff, nice salad, bread, relish tray w/cheese, crackers, great ribeye steaks (1-Q, 1-K) cooked to order w/*mushrooms, *garlic butter & baked potato w/*sour cream (extra chg). Omg we are stuffed to the gills and we loved it! All this for just about $51.--

It's so wonderful to have the old school supper club experience and for the food to exceed expectations! The prices were great, three of us ate a 4 course meal for under $70! So great, we'll be back and highly recommend this restaurant.

Can't believe we waited so long to eat here. Will be back. Now one of my favorite restaurants. Well rounded menu for the area. Bar is a get place for drinks with your companions. Even an outdoor seating area for those lovely weather days. Went early evening so don't know if it gets too loud with a larger crowd, but while we were there, could hold a conversation easily during your meal.

Excellent pre dinner drinks. Enjoy either their clam chowder and Friday fish or Saturday prime rib. Then top them off with an ice cream drink. Kahlua krunch is my favorite. The service is just as amazing as the food!

Went there for their Wednesday night all you can eat chicken and dumplings. It was great. I love the family style serving and everyone there was very friendly and helpful. Prices were good as well. I highly recommend this place.

Greatest restaurant I have ever eaten at. The people are soooo nice and it was also great food. I had the ribs and they just melted in my mouth. Not to mention the drinks at the bar. They were fantastic. It was a great night.

Excellent food with excellent service. It's not a Supper Club so don't expect a salad bar. Oh, did I mention the food was excellent? Fish Fry Fridays are great here.

Best chicken and dumplings anywhere. All around fantastic experience in a very cool old house with a seedy past. Their ability to have consistently great tasting food for so long is few and far between. Keep it up and we will be back again.

What a treat! Excellent food & service. The setting is beautiful. Good food along with good prices! An old fashioned supper club! Hard to find one like this.

Had the prime rib this past Saturday night was super delicious. Great atmosphere and service. Had the butterfinger ice cream for dessert it was outstanding.

Stopped in on 10/14/17 Saturday night, for some prime rib. We were early for our 5pm reservations, and enjoyed some fine Old Fashions made by Dave at the bar, overlooking the lake. When the rest of our party arrived, Ashley, our server took our orders and escorted us to our seats when the salads were on the table. Food was great, and service exemplary, with Ashley seeing to our every need, and answering any questions we had. Save room for the schaumtort . It was delicious. Had a great evening and a great meal.

Awesome meal. Great service. The broasted chicken and dumplings were fantastic. Went with a friend that used to work there, Greg Mills. He had raved about the place and we made a special trip from Oklahoma. There were four of us and none were disappointed. The place is worth the trip.

Had dinner Saturday night, first time. I was hoping for lake view, will have to go back when warmer for outside view. Service, food, prices, all excellent. I ordered small ribeye, which was a delicious and generous serving.

Best Supper Club in Wisconsin!!!! Traditional, excellent food & drinks! The Fish Fry is a do not miss!!!!! Best ever!!!!

This is the best supper club in the area that we have found. Great prime rib. We will try the chicken and dumplings soon. Comfortable seating with a cheerful staff.

Been dinning at Shaumburgs for 44+ years, owners are fantastic as well as the whole staff !! Food is always delicious and plenty of it. I had our business Christmas parties there many times and they always make sure that everything is okay. They go out of their way to make sure that you have a great dinning experience !!
