Pasta D'Arte Trattoria Italiana

Gorgeously awesome.
We were traveling around Chicago and just found this restaurant. And we realized that we visited the best Italian restaurant in Chicago. (at least to me) Food, atmosphere, service were really great and especially the risotto…that was LEGIT. My family will go back to Korea and I will go back to Michigan, but if we have a chance again to visit Chicago, we will definitely come back here to enjoy the delicious Italian food. (And cheesecake and sorbet were also great.)

I went to this Italian restaurant with my friends, and we decided to share dishes this time. Letting them pick turned out to be a great idea because everything was amazingly delicious. The place looks really nice with awesome decorations, and the staff were super friendly. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

This is one of our favorite spots in the Northwest side of Chicago.
The place is warm and inviting, and it makes us feel like we're dining in Italy.
The service is amazing! From the complementary valet parking, to the warm and welcoming hostess, to the very helpful and charming wait staff. They never disappoint.
But their true talent lies in the food. They produce high-quality foods with high-quality ingredients with complex tastes and textures. We had the Grilled Oysters, Pappardelle Bolognese and Braciole Di Carne. All were Fantastic! And portions were large enough to take some home.
The dessert was light and fluffy and perfect end to a meal!
And for you, wine, lovers, this place has something for everyone.
As I said, before, one of my favorite places that we have frequented for many years, and will continue to do so for many more to come.

This is one of our all time favorite restaurants in the Chicago area. We are from Niles but currently live out of state, so whenever we’re in town we always make sure to eat here at least once. The owner is kind and friendly. Their service is fast, efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. We will come here again and again. Thank you!

Pasta D’arte is incredible! We three a surprise party for my mother-in-law in early May and everything went off without a hitch. First of all the staff was excellent; Vince and crew went above and beyond to make sure our party of 20 was always attended to. The food was out of this world. As a third gen Italian American, my bar is set high, but let me tell you everything was delicious. The Marsala was bomb. The vodka sauce, bomb. The calamari bomb. Everything was perfect and made for a perfect evening. If you are planning an event they will completely take care of you. Highly recommend.

Tucked away in the northwestern corner of the city, this gem of a place does wonderful with great service. Showed up without a reservation on a Friday evening and they went out of their way to accommodate. It is a perfect place for a large group and/or special occasions. Highly recommended.

I have been twice at this place. The food quality is really good, is homemade, good service and good atmosphere. Not the cheapest place but it worth it for a special occasion. They have a good variety of wines and pasta as well.

We had my mom’s 85th Birthday dinner here and it was perfect. We had a private section in the back which made it extra special. The service is exceptional and the food is delicious! We have also eaten here many times and every meal has been so good! From the salads to the risotto to the chicken Marsala, the flavors are incredible!

Wanted some home made pasta and paid a visit to D'Arte! Came in for lunch and it was very quiet with nobody in, so we had extra peace. Service was proffessional and helpful, server who could be manager or even owner was great guy, helped us thru menu and made us comfortable. I was debating between ravioli with lobster or rigatoni vodka, but went with vodka. Dishes looked fancy and portions were huge. Vodka had great tomato garlic sauce and it had a great kick because of prosciutto! The special pasta we ordered was with prosciutto, goat cheese, pepper, spinach and dry fig! What a crazy combination, something I never tried before, bit sweet, but such an great experience! Can't wait to go back and try out some other home made pasta!

We hosted a family lunch at Pasta D’Arte for what was a very somber day for our family. The chef and owner, Mark and his GM Vince took excellent care of us and helped me set everything up with 4 days notice. They both made everything so easy and I cannot share my appreciation enough. Mira our server was so kind and provided great service. Not only were we well taken care of but the food was phenomenal. The people really make this place here and you can tell Chef Mark and his team care about what they do. It’s so refreshing to see this level of hospitality. My family will be customers for life! Thank you again and to anyone looking - you should definitely eat here! Hosting our family gathering of 30 people was lovely for lunch and I highly recommend them for event gatherings as well.

Outstanding food, and a wonderful staff. We went on a busy Saturday night. Had a drink at the bar, then the head chef came out to take care of us personally since we were waiting for a while. We did not mind hanging out at the bar, or waiting for our table, however he still wanted my make sure we had a great experience. The food was some of the best Italian we’ve had in Chicago. Definitely recommend trying!

Has to be one of the greatest Italian restaurants in the city worthy of a Michelin Star. Bucatini All'Osso Di Manzo was delicious.

We've loved Pasta D'Arte for so many years now, but every time we come back, we love it even more. Beautiful atmosphere, amazing food, excellent service. It's so cozy, even in a much expanded space. Great job, Pasta D'Arte!!

Great food and quaint space. With so many options in the Ohare area, this is definitely worth checking out.

This is probably now one of my favorite places. The pumpkin ravioli was delicious. Drinks are good and the staff was fabulous. Only down side is there’s no parking lot so parking may be difficult to find during busy peak times.

I got some very unwelcome news today, and couldn’t manage dinner for the family. So, I ordered 2 orders of pesto pasta from Pasta d’arte. Upon delivery I discovered that it contained shrimp, which we cannot eat.

It is still frankly baffling to me that the title of a meal that doesn’t traditionally come with shrimp by default…doesn’t mention it had shrimp. Lol. Nonettheless it DID say so in the description, which (on this, one of the worst days I can remember) I missed.

I called, freaked out that I had just spent $50 on dinner I couldn’t use, and I definitely wasn’t my best self on the phone. The manager still quickly hand delivered replacements free of charge.

(And as always the food was great.)

So this review is my repayment for being an overly emotional customer tonight. Thank you—it rescued my evening. And the uneaten dishes did go to a neighbor who needed a little love today.

The place is operated by her grandsons, super nice guys, very warm, welcoming and professional!

Felt like I was in Italy. The food was superb as was the service. I would definitely go there again, and again.
