Henson Park

This is my favorite of our local parks. It needs a little love, but most parks do. Restrooms are functional and, while certainly not clean and awesome, they are better maintained than most I've seen in the area. Grandson adores playing on the caboose that greets you at the front of the park. There's a nice set of playground equipment, baseball diamond, huge open area good for other ball games, kite flying, etc. Also a fairly well-kept pavilion picnic area. Neighboring golf course has always been nice about letting us nature walk over there during off-hours.

Always nice and clean. Equipment kept in good shape for small children.

I am a big fan of this park! Lots of trees, lots of space. The neighborhood is adorable! It's a fun park to explore!
