Must visit if you’re in Point Pleasant. The TNT bunker area is incredible. Follow the road until you reach the area with the graffiti road grail. We saw a stray dog down there and tried feeding him but he got too scared.

I had a lot of fun in this park, if you go I definitely recommend bringing bug and tick repellent, especially if you go off the main path at all. Overall it's a really nice walk and the giant lily pads are pretty nice to see on the water along and the historic ammunition igloos are really interesting to check out, but if you have kids, be aware there is graffiti in these and some of it isn't child appropriate.

Beautiful area with bunkers to explore. Where the “mothman” was first spotted

Came here looking for a few of the TNT bunkers in the area. The surrounding areas are very beautiful. There are wildflowers scattered about. The pond area is nice to photograph birds and other wildlife in the area. I took my GPS route here and it carried me down a very long narrow dirt road, so watch how you enter your routes.

Beautiful and eerily serene! GPS can be misleading on how to get here, especially if you're trying to go to the TNT Igloo area.

You'll want to set your GPS for Potter's Creek Road, which turns off from Ohio River Rd, that's where the little parking areas are. The one you'll be looking for if headed to the TNT igloos has a guardrail in front that's tagged with graffiti.

Now that's an experience!! We went to the place where Mothman was first spotted. Visited 3 Bunkers. It was the perfect cool rainy day to do some awesome creepy exploring. So muddy but so worth it. The bunkers we're pretty wild. The area is on the Environmental Protection Agenciess superfunded cleanup list for hazardous materials. In 2010 one of the bunkers mysteriously exploded with 15,000-20,000 pounds of TNT inside blasting the 6 inch concrete domed ceiling up in the air before imploding inwards. The area was shut down for a full sweep by the government to make sure they didn't miss anymore which is amazing it was missed for almost 5 decades in the first place!! We went to 3 of the 100 bunkers on the almost 3700 acre area. Some of them are privately owned but there's plenty to explore on your own. Enjoy the pics and Videos!

Only explored a very small area, the TNT domes but the place seemed quiet and I'm sure hidden creatures abound, def going back for more leisure walking and bird watching. The echo inside the domes is pretty cool.

We came out here to see the TNT bunkers, which were awesome, but the wildlife area is gorgeous in and of itself. There are shallow turn-offs in a few spots on Potter's Road where you can park and walk down a gravel path into the area, though gates prevent driving down. The swamp was full of lily pads, blooms and birds. We saw lots of dragonflies, frogs and a few snakes. Come dressed for ticks, mosquitoes and muddy patches if you go far in, but otherwise it's an easy walk and the bunkers are quite close to the road. People have left an unfortunate amount of trash out there, but the brush is cut well back around each bunker entrance, presumably by the rangers. Don't give up if you don't see them immediately; they're pretty well camouflage d by trees, but the path with take you there.

Came to find Mothman, Ghosts, & Bigfoot. We were very pleased and had a great time. We visited the Mothman Museum & from there were directed to these TNT igloos. Pretty cool. We would have explored further if it wasn't so wet. We still had a great time. 😱😲😨👽👾💀👻👀💣⛺🌁☁⛅🌉🔥💥

Really pretty in January and February when you can see the bunkers more easily. Very fun hiking and searching for hidden history. Watch for thorns though.
