Iqra is known as a preeminent Islamic bookstore in the region. They have a wide range of English language and Urdu language books. The Arabic language section was a little small and basic. But it was better than anything else in the region. In fact, after my recent visit to Halalco in Northern Virginia and seeing how much they've changed, Iqra might be the best Islamic Bookstore in the country. It's better than any I've seen in New York City or elsewhere in the country. The shopkeep was amazingly friendly and accommodating. He's a very nice guy. I really enjoyed my visit and the next time I'm in Chicago I'll be sure to stop by. Bookshops like it are a rapidly vanishing breed in the USA.

I love going to this Islamic book store. Every time I go there I try to control my spending and not to go beyond my budget! Because I like almost everything they sell. I bought more than 10 items the last time I was there and I can't wait to go back for more shopping.The shop has a clean and neat back room for Muslims to pray their daily prayers and everyone is welcome. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this awesome shop to anyone visiting Devon Ave in Chicago.

Nice arrangement for prayers. Library has lots of good books on Islamic studies and on the Life and Sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad Mustafa SAWW (PBUH).

Today was my first time going to the store and the store is beautifully organized! Customer service by Nasir was exceptionally wonderful and welcoming. He was very patient and showed me things in his store. He also gave me a huge discount since this was my first time visiting the store. Variety of Islamic things are available. I highly recommend this store and its customer service.

Best place on Devon for Islamic decorations! I have been coming here over 15 years and I find all my house decorations here. I have gifted many decorations from here and my family and friends love them! They have lots of good books and guides as well.

Went to this store this afternoon. Store opens from 12- 8 pm. Selling mainly Islamic books both for adults and children plus some other Islamic accessories. Also have books on learning the Arabic language, books on the history of Islam and life of the Prophet and his companions, Quraan and Hadiths. For anybody who wants to learn about Islam this store is worth a visit

This place is great, they have the widest variety of Islamic books. Infact I'm sure when I order online the books are shipped from this company. The employees are always helpful. They even have a special area to pray for men and women. Whenever I can, I also stop by for their lovely bukoor.

This store is awesome. It's large with a great selection of books, clothing and gift items. There's also an impressive selection of children's books including all popular textbooks, workbooks and picture books I've found nowhere else. We were invited to pray with the owner and other customers. There's a small but comfy prayer room in the back with facilities for washing. MashaAllah. We could have spent hours browsing in the store. In fact the store owner told us people are welcome to sit and use the store for reading or research. We didn't have time to stay but in sha Allah we'll come back to this store anytime we visit Chicago!

Clean, quiet bookstore. Lots of books on various topics, good selection of mus'hafs as well. Open during Covid but make sure to wear a mask. The prayer area in the back is very nice as well.

This is a great place for islamic decor and prayer related clothing and other accessories. Their showpieces are very beautiful and everything is priced very reasonably. I would recommend this place to all.

Lots of good collection and owner was helpful. We wish we had more time to check out more books. Will definitely go back. We just purchased the Quraan Juz by Juz and price was fair.

Love this place. Can and do spend hours picking out new books. Love that they have such a nice dedicated space for salah within the shop.
