Smokin' Butt BBQ

Highly recommend! Pulled pork is tender and juicy, mac & cheese is delicious, brisket had great texture and smokey flavor. Cornbread is also very good - not too crumbly like many others I’ve tried. Very reasonably priced IMO. It’s on the other side of town from me but I will gladly make the drive to come back again!

Our son ate this place when it was catered to his fraternity... he loved it. Came back days later with his girlfriend, and then brought us here when we came to visit. We loved it too! We ordered the family deal, which came with a pound of neat (we chose pulled pork) a rach of ribs, 2 pints of sides, and 4 buns. We got the beans and Mac N Cheese. We travel A LOT and always try the local spots for BBQ. This place was great. The service was seriously the best. It is located at a golf course, but don't let that be a reason to not come. Plenty of parking and seating. Very clean and the menu was easy to read. The sauces were excellent! Definitely sweet and unique. The hotter one was not very hot, it had some heat but even a person who doesn't like hot could eat it without issue. There were only 3 of us and we took a bit more than half of it home because we were stuffed. The food looked so good that I totally forgot to get pics until we had almost finished, but it was DELICIOUS! We would come back for sure! Prices were good too! Especially for the amount of food!!

We recently had our daughter's wedding catered by "Smokin Butt BBQ and to say it was fantastic is an understatement! They traveled 2.5 hours to provide us with the most amazing service and food! We cannot thank them enough for all they did to make our daughter's wedding absolutely perfect! Our venue owner agreed that Smokin Butt BBQ was the best she has encountered!

The rib sandwich special had enough meat for two sandwiches. Loved the potato salad. Can't wait to try more menu items.

Incredible restaurant and somehow even more incredible caterer! From our first tasting to the day of the wedding Rick was so nice and helpful. He was always available for whatever questions we had and seemed genuinely happy to help. We've gotten a lot of compliments on our wedding but the number one compliment we get is how great the food was. All the leftovers were packed up and ready the next day for us to take home from the restaurant and they even made sure to give us a couple of bottles of sauce. Not to mention the price!! Other caterers we looked at were almost double what we were charged here and definitely for less tasty food! We will never stop singing the praises of Smokin' Butt. Thank you for helping make our wedding great!

This is a hidden gem in Davenport IA. This little BBQ joint shares the space with a golf course club house. Don't let that deceive you. The smells and bbq is fabulous. It rivals Jack Stack in Kansas City and Rudy's. We had the sampler platter. This could have been shared for 2 or 3 persons.

Absolutely perfect catering experience. We had many comments at our wedding about how personable and friendly the staff was. Rick was excellent to work with and is very knowledgeable and down to earth. Every dish we had was delicious and fresh from the fruit, to the cheesy bread, and of course the brisket. Can't recommend enough!

Stopped by to day and ordered half rack of ribs with potato salad & Mac and cheese. Was a little disappointed in the To-go side size however the Ribs made up for it. Very moist and tender. It did not need any BBQ sauce to go with it. I did try the Sweet N Heat sauce, 100% recommended. It is not spicy and just perfected the ribs.

Everything great; try the baby back ribs when they have them; they’re the best ever! A++++++

We had our wedding catered by Smokin' Butt and they were absolutely amazing. We received SO many compliments from our guests on the food. They're very reasonably priced, they served the food themselves, and they even packed up the leftovers and stored them at their kitchen for us to pick up the next day. Highly recommend!!

I wanted to give a shout out and a huge thank you for your fantastic service. We had to scramble to come up with a BBQ place to cater my step daughters wedding and Rick and his crew stepped up with not a whole lot of notice. When his mom drove up to the reception you could just smell the goodness coming from here car. Lol I have to say the aroma drew quite a crowd and the meal did not disappoint. I highly recommend if you're looking for a smooth transaction from start to finish for any event! Thanks again

Wow! Amazing food. The guys at work said this place was good but they didn't tell me it was amazing. Even the person who took my order over the phone was polite and is great at customer service. All six men at the shop loved the food. Nice work Smokin' Butt BBQ!

Fantastic flavor all around. I ordered the sampler, which included brisket, pulled pork and chicken and sausage with two sides. Everything was amazing, but especially loves the pork. Highly recommended and will be ordering again.

For you fellow travelers in a hurry passing thru on 80. Take the extra 4 minutes and drive to this place, very much worth it! I got a rack of ribs. These are not your typical ribs, they are smoked to perfection and i dont know what they season them with but its top of the line. Same for the 2 sauces, i cant compare them to anything. Theyre just really good.
