Great ambiance, spacious and offers outdoor seating. I had a ham, egg and cheese bagel sandwich, which was yummy and filling with a latte. It seems like they only offer one size iced coffees. The latte was tasty. I am looking forward to visiting again.

Best coffee shop in Bridgeport! Very reasonably priced with great coffee and plenty of seating and outlets. Quiet, ambiance music and lots of natural light makes it a great place to study. Their donuts are amazing, even late into the afternoon they taste fresh and are perfectly matched with a coffee.

One of our neighborhood cafes, I come here at least once a month. We’ve tried everything from their chai to other teas to cold brew to lattes. The coffees and teas are all fairly priced and delicious (they know their stuff), the hot food is high quality albeit a bit pricey. I see why though, their breakfast bagels are stuffed and super filling, they’d even work for lunch. But their drinks are at least comparably priced to the area, with some being surprisingly cheaper. The atmosphere is lovely and the staff are friendly, straightforward, but not coffee shop pretentious (if you know what I mean). It’d be a good place to work or study. I wish they were open a little earlier and closed a little later, maybe sometime in the future they’ll expand their hours.

I came over to the UK to visit some friends for a bit and we happened upon this cafe during one of our days out. I absolutely loved the vibe, the menu and the care of the staff! I’m kind of a picky coffee drinker and the barista was really kind to chat with me through all the options and make recommendations. I loved this place so much we went back 4 times over my stay! Coffee, tea, breakfast and lunch - everything I had was superb’ 10/10 recommend!

I have been coming here since they opened. The layout of the shop is open and bright, with art decorating the walls and a variety of music playing in the background. They have a variety of amazing sandwiches and other delicious items. Paul, James, and the entire rest of the staff are always friendly and quick to take your order with a smile.

The coffee is great! The espresso drinks are nice and strong. They serve Sputnick coffee, which I really enjoy. The space there is very welcoming. It's large, open, well decorated, and I love the plants! Additional pluses are you can play Pokémon Go in there, there's free wifi, and there's a lot of nice art in the hallways and all over inside and outside the place. Everyone there was super friendly, and they really knew how to make coffee drinks. Now, the Cuban sandwich I wasn't impressed with. It was basically like a grilled ham n cheese with jalapeños and pickled onions. It wasn't what I hoped for, but it wasn't terrible. It did come with a delicious side pickle and chips. There's loads of free parking in a great big lot. And the bathrooms are very clean.

This is a hidden gem for sure. I had the Rebel Sandwich and it was amazing! I'm limiting my meat intake so the Soyrizo sandwich was the best option for me. It was by far the best bagel sandwich I've ever had. What a creative sandwich. It was fresh, rich and flavorful. Way to go Chef! One of the best cafes in Chicagoland. I highly recommend.

This cafe is a great place to get some work done! It has a very chill atmosphere, set by lots of natural light and chill low-fi beats on the speakers. Ample seating options with plenty of outlets on the walls or in the floor. I had an egg and cheese bagel that was tasty and a chai latte. Great prices on drinks and pretty reasonable prices for food. Tons of free street parking. I will be back!

Strong Cold brew, espresso, breakfast, and the best open air beautiful atmosphere you will ever experience at a cafe in chicago. Gluten free bagel option was awesome!

Lovely cafe down in Bridgeport. I came in on a slow Thursday and got 1 turkey sandwich and 1 medium latte for $22. I am a community organizer for two different creative groups and I was curious about bringing them here. The booking fees (quoted between $875-$1050) will prevent my community from enjoying Base Cafe, but it was a nice coffee shop. Definitely very high end prices, especially for artists and creatives in the Bridgeport neighborhood.

Awesome little Cafe in Bridgeport. Shared a pesto chicken sandwich, which was perfectly toasted . Great cheese to chicken to pesto ratio! Bagels are terrific too. Try the house made spinach cream cheese. As many have said, the vibe is a modern, artsy, chill scene with lo-fi music playing in the background. Coffee is good too. I had a pistachio latte. A touch pricy, but definitely worth it. Will be back.

Cozy neighborhood spot in the Bridgeport community where mostly everyone knew each other. Loved that vibe and the owners were super friendly. Really enjoyed chatting about the Chinatown community. Tasty coffee and delicious Turkey sandwich (pictured). Work friendly spot with patio seating too.

First off the cafe has a great vibe, love the decor and furniture. I had their special, the turkey sandwich and it was honestly delicious. Thick slices of turkey, bacon and the raisin bread is a great combo. Picture does not do the sandwich justice. Highly recommend 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

This is a best coffee shop you can find in Chicago. Staff is amazing, food is wonderful. If you have any work you need to get done they have plenty of tables/outlets ect... and the coffee is not for the weak. You will have enough energy to last you the whole day

Stopped in to try them out. I had a bagel and some chicken vegetables soup. It was delicious.

Great pepper and egg breakfast sandwich. fresh egg, great giardiniera, soft bagel. I think it was 7 bucks, so not great but not a rip off given the quality!

Cool and comfy coffee shop tucked away in the arts center. Coffee, food, aesthetic, and music were all great.

If I lived down here I'd prolly be here all the time.
