Called to set up an appointment to have them handle personal taxes for my wife and I. Moved here last year for her job. Was on the phone for 15 minutes giving our info, and going over when we can come in. Was told there was plenty of spots over the next couple weeks. Perfect. Then I was asked where we live. I said Waukegan. Currently renting while we search for a home. Soon as I said that, I was told “we are busy and can’t take on anymore clients”. What!? Why did you waste my time? Is my current zip code not good enough? Really bizarre.
