Back for the Tent Sale in September! I have to mention the staff at Bushwhacker is awesome! Drew and Ethan helped set up my new cycling shoes and provided customer service that was next level. Check out was completed by Jake, who also provided awesome conversation and set the tone for a great day! Can't recommend this place highly enough! Always a great experience!

Really like this store! Whenever we are in Peoria I always have to stop! Great selection of bikes, specifically mountain bikes! They also have tons of gear and always have a clearance section with plenty of hidden gems!

My husband and I are traveling from Florida to Oregon over a three month camping/biking/hiking/kayaking trip. We stopped here after our Yakima roof racks broke for repair. Wow! What a store! We have traveled extensively and have to say this is by far the best outdoor gear/clothing ect ect store we’ve come across! Jessica, Matt and Jake were patient, knowledgeable and bonus….fun! Love this store! Of you are in the Peoria area it is a definite go too! They have all your adventure needs and then some!

I just had a wonderful experience doing the SUP yoga class. I was a newbie to this and I didn’t know what to expect. The teacher gave such good instructions that I was able to feel comfortable and confident on the board during the class. I Completely recommend this for something new and fun to do. Being on the water at wildlife prairie park was so peaceful. Birds chirping, cozy warm sunrise, and soft scent of flowering trees ❤ when is the next class? I’m ready for more! I stopped at Bushwacker yesterday along my trail ride, in search of bicycle upgrades and accessories. The staff members that assisted me were kind, patient, and knowledgeable. They worked well together as a team, referring to each other for areas of expertise, and the manager was also very present and friendly. They gladly helped me install the parts purchased, and I learned a lot about other elements I aim to add in the future. I appreciate all of the assistance and look forward to returning.

Really wanting to purchase a bike, I decided to stop here as my 1st brick and mortar store visit… 100% plan on returning. Young man named Wyatt was extremely helpful, kind, knowledgeable, friendly, upbeat, etc. Very refreshing to get that type of customer service.

Hands down one of the best customer service experiences I have ever had. I needed a part for my roof rack for a cross-country move and due to supply chain issues this was the only place I could find it in stock. The folks at Bushwhacker were not only friendly and helpful but made special accommodations to overnight the part to me in Oregon! It arrived on time with a hand written note—we are so impressed!

We are Colorado cyclists in town and had to get some last minute unexpected service. Bushwackers came highly recommend by locals and they delivered. Drew and Cole not only took care of us quickly, but we're so kind enough to take the extra time to educate us about my new bike, the repair, and answered all of our questions about the local cycling scene. If you’re coming here ask for Jake. Talk guy with a great mustache. He is the most helpful person I’ve ever seen in a store. I asked for tips on winter gear for snowboarding season and he put together a whole outfit for me, showed me which size snowboard I’d need and was generally super helpful. This dude is awesome I hope the owners see this!

Military friendly! Very knowledgeable staff, with wide selection of goods at various price points. Excellent for beginners, intermediate and advanced. Great selection of discounted items as well! My husband and I love this store. Highly recommend coming here for all your outdoor and sporting good needs.

Dropped my skis off for new bindings. Got great customer service like I always do. Jake went above and beyond delivering my skis to me, since I couldn’t make it back down to get them. Shop local!!

I stopped in earlier this year and they fixed my bike. (that's another 5 star review) but this time I needed some hiking boots. I shop small so I went in to see what they had. I was greeted by a nice young person who helped me pick up out some cool boots and casual shoes. She didn't rush me at all and even showed me pics of her cat when I asked about him. (I had a cat mask on) Really, really great customer service and the shoes are high quality.
They are located right by the bike trail so check it out. I saw they had new bikes in. :-)

Thanks to Robert today! He helped us choose all the extra items we needed for the new bike we ordered with Credit card points. He helped us know what we needed and what was a nice add on. he gave us the "why" for each item he suggested. such a great experience to get quality service, no one tried to upsell us, and we now have EVERYTHING we need to get on the trail. We will be back for everything we will need while starting out on our cycling journey. Thanks so much for supporting "I've Decided to Ride" we are now hooked!

I love this outfitters! They have a little bit of gear for each outdoor adventure here. Rich has been in business for 43 years here at Bushwacker. He is an awesome guy, I enjoyed talking to him. The staff here have lots of product knowledge. Nadia and Savannah were kind to talk to and very helpful! Outfitters like this are what push people to explore the outdoors! Come by and see these guys they are the best in the state.

Possibly the best retail shopping experience of my life. I went in knowing what I wanted (The Burly Bee trailer or something in the burly line) Walked in and was greeted promptly. Told him what I was there for and he walked me back to show what they had. I said "yep ill take the bee" after a short back and forth about the models with him answering every question I had. Now it could of just stopped there for him, he made the sale his job was done. He went over every single aspect of the trailer after checkout to make sure I fully understood all of its functions and how to connect it to my bike (and to make sure the axel springs are in the correct position). I cannot stress enough how good of an experience I had at this store. Every other retail store could learn a lot from this place on how to serve customers.

I dropped off my bike to get my tires fixed. While I was there I browsed the store. I ended up buying some shoes, shirts, and a hat. They were so helpful! I picked up my bike a couple days later and they took the time to make sure everything was perfect. I'll be back!

I had the best experience buying my new Liv Sedona bike. Duncan helped me to finalise my decision to buy and Bushwhacker gave me a great deal. (Better than I found at three other shops.) I also found accessories that suited my tastes. The staff stayed after closing so that I wouldn't have to pick up my bike the next day. (I live out of town) All in all, it was a great experience.

I traveled here from Springfield just to look, but I ended up buying a bicycle. The staff is beyond helpful in deciding what you need for your type of ride. They didn’t try to up-sale anything they pointed me to what I needed and gave me options. Thankfully there is a nice bike trail that runs directly next to the shop and they let you test ride the bikes on the trail! And as many bikes as you want to try! I am more than happy with my experience and mostly my bike!! ALSO, my boyfriend is a huge kayaker and the staff are also very knowledgeable about kayaking and where to go locally!! I will always come back to this store!!

If you’re looking for cheap products go this may not be for you, BUT you get what you pay for!!!
