So the front and it's "for rent" sign made me think that Papa Freddy's was closed...

But then I saw the lit up "OPEN" neon sign, read the signs on the front door, and peaked around the corner to find the pick-up window open!

It looks like the full menu is still available. I got a VERY generous single slice ($5) and it was very tasty!

Sausage slice was amazing! Nice little corner pizza place, nothing too special just some tasty pizza. They didnt have anything else when my wife and i were there.

I lived in Chicago for 13 years and this was one of my most favorite spots when I wanted some good food. Service was always amazing!

Good neighborhood pizza place been ordering from here for years !! Always do pick up though because the delivery guy takes longer than the estimated time. Also it’s a cash only place .
