Econo Lodge Inn & Suites

For $60 a night this place is a gem. The grounds outside needs attention - almost did not stay because of that reason but other than that — bed was comfy, shower good and very quiet. Try it you will be pleasantly surprised. Breakfast was good too. Guess it is under new mgmt so we will be back!

Very very poor customer service by the Manager of the hotel. He is very rude and does not make u feel welcome with his slick words. He talks to u as if you are a child and will scold u if You dare ask for tissue, towels or forget your room key. He acts as if he is way to busy to cater to the paying customer. There is a another man there who works at this facility as well who is very sweet and understanding I like him a lot and he works very hard. Another thing is the rooms are extremely outdated and the towels are hard and thin as if they have seen better days. The hallways are muggy. The sheets do not stay on the bed. The pillows were terrible and the breakfast was pitiful. They are over due for a remodel. And a better manager.

The manager, Jodie, at the Peoria Econo Lodge is amazing. She was extremely helpful from my first to last phone call. She treated me like a close friend. I felt it was genuine and she didn't have to be so understanding with my particular situation. Thank you thank you thank you, Jodie.
I'm not sure what kind of upper management reads these reviews, but I certainly hope this one is passed on to them.

Way better than previous reviews. I stayed on 9-26-14, here is a current update.

The outside doesn't look to bad, seems like a very safe area next to Northwoods Mall, and many dinning places. Parking lot was well lite, and outside doors locked. Key was needed to get in. Felt Safe.

Check in, check out was very smooth. Had to ring the bell once but a person came out right away. Very kind staff.

The room itself, was pretty good not great. The carpet is newer, the Tv was nice and big. The room also had a microwave and fridge. The room was very clean had no problems there. The bed was one of the best I have ever slept on at a hotel chain like this. Now I would say the shower is not that great. It is a standing shower. But besides that I thought it was pretty good. Nice recliner in my room for me to watch tv on.

Breakfast was okay, I travel a lot and have stayed at nice hotels and crappy motels. This is better then your average motel breakfast. It had waffles, bagels, juice machine, donuts, muffins, and couple more cant remember. But it is nothing like a holiday inn express breakfast.

Overall I thought this is one of my better stays in Peoria. For around 60 dollars I will definitely be here again!

This hotel is conveniently located with close access to public transportation as well as a variety of dining and shopping options. Plenty of parking, safe, monitored and well lit. This hotel will be renovated and updated soon, however, until then it is adequately accommodated for budget pricing.
There is a deposit for non smoking rooms but it's worth the difference. Smoking rooms are less modern in decor/furnishing, yet still provide free 5G wifi, a microwave, mini fridge, flat screen TV with cable, landline phone, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, 6 drawer dresser, one-two beds and night stands, shower (no tub) and 2-3 mirrors. Most rooms provide a table/desk with chair and an arm chair. There is a small area for hanging clothing/jackets and a luggage stand. The carpet and paint is in good condition. The beds are comfortable though the pillows are thin and the linens on the smoking (2nd) floor are aged but clean. The non smoking suites are markedly more modern and 'clean' in appearance.
There are jacuzzi suites available, hot tubs are located in the suite's bathroom. There is an additional 'living space' in the suite furnished with a hide a bed sofa and coffee table.

Excellent week long stay. The staff is super friendly and went above and beyond. The room was super clean and the beds were comfortable!! The location was perfect with plenty of dining options and shopping. I travel extensively and this was a pleasant surprise!

Had an exceptional stay. Breakfast was fresh, the room was beyond my idea of comfortable, the front desk agent was such a nice guy. I would recommend a stay here for any and all travelers.

At first, I was skeptic to stay here because of the reviews. I decided to stay, and I'm absolutely glad I did! The hotel is under new management and they have newly renovated all of the rooms. The value was tremendous! Will stay again!

I have another night to stay here; however, so far it's been a good stay. The person who checked me in last night was very helpful. Bedspread & TV could use updating. But for the price - I'd recommend staying here.

Econo Lodge Inn & Suites is a nice facility. We were there to visit a hospital, so we weren't there for leisure. However, the people treated us well, and we made the most of our situation. Thank you.

The room was great. Awesome customer service. Will come back and stay here. Mariah was great very very helpful. And one of the biggest reasons this hotel stay was great.I highly recommend staying here.

This place is great Free breakfest thats very appreciated, comfy beds nice shower,staff is very nice and helpful,we needed our car jumped and they hepled out charging our battery.i also had my chips in the vending machine get stuck and i went to the front desk for help and the man working there helped me out and we talked a bit.i will for sure come back again when i come to travel.Its really a great place to stay and and has a great pricing.Thank you very much for letting i and friends stay at your amazing hotel.

If I'm ever in the area and need a motel this where I'm coming. Its clean and the people here are so friendly and helpful. I've already recommended this place to several people.

I enjoyed my stay. Friendly staff and I thought the price was very reasonable for the rooms. Great continental breakfast in the morning.

Just what I need for a place to sleep before heading back on the road. Very friendly service and rooms are basic but have all the necessities.
