Edinger's Filling Station

Breakfast was good, biscuits and gravy exceptional. The place was packed, so it took a bit for the food to arrive, but worth the wait. Prices were very affordable. I ordered half order of biscuit and the Friday $2.99 egg and hash brown special. Great meal for under $6.50.

Nice little small town breakfast spot. Was in Pontiac for the morning and this came up on Google Maps. Food was good, service was great, and prices were fair.

We loved the atmosphere and decorations. Overall, Great food and service. Best of all, the price couldn't be beat. We had breakfast for 4 people (coffees included) for under $40.

A great place to have breakfast. The people are so nice and they take our/your health very serious. We had the best omelet ever today, very tasty and fluffy. I highly recommend it.

Farm fresh eggs, hand made sausage patty and toast for breakfast. Great service and super friendly. We didn't have any pie, but we were told it is the best.

Cool, newer version of the local diner. Had coffee and special of the day.. cheese omelette with toast..only $3.99. Good service...AND...you get the TRUE local experience as you will be sitting amongst them. Across the street is the local supermarket that has a small gas station that has better prices than the stations by the interstate. This restaurant is usually only open until like 2 in the afternoon. Fun stop for sure!!

Out for a drive and looked like a quaint, local spot for lunch. Boy were we surprised...this place was better than we anticipated. I had their Cuban with Mac and cheese side - what a flavorful sandwich! My wife had the postal burger with same side - cooked to perfection (med.rare) and delicious. The Mac and cheese was delicious and much moister than most restaurants. What a pleasant lunch in a great setting with very friendly service.

First time at Edingers. Will definitely make the drive back. We were greeted right away. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent. Had the chicken pot pie which was wonderful. Also tried the fried macaroni which was very rich and tasty. Others in my party had the blowtorch burger which they agreed was very good but not as spicy as expected. We will be making the hour and a half drive to go back!

My daughter chose this stop as my husband needed to take a business call. What an awesome experience!! The service is great. We got to know our waitress on a personal level, which is always nice. The food was AH-mazing!! Definitely try their Philly sandwich - it was perfect!! We will be adding this stop to our future travels around Illinois.

Edinger's is my favorite place in town! We go there nearly every week. The French toast is to die for but I've never had a bad meal there. Everyone is so friendly and attentive. I especially love Denise, who always knows exactly what I want and takes great care of us.

I love this place. We had to go back a second time in the same week we tried it. The waitresses are super nice, the food is hot and delicious, the atmosphere is very open and welcoming.

Our table ordered the pizza burger, cheeseburger, and Cuban sandwich. Everything was hot and delicious!! The crinkle cut fries were nice and crispy, but the fried mac and cheese is where it's at!! And you MUST TRY MARY'S PIE!!! Cherry iis my favorite! This place is a local gem for sure! Clean, efficient, welcoming, friendly! Loved it!!

Friendly service, our waitress listen very carefully to our complicated questions about the menu, and got it all right. Really good coffee! The Gas Monkey omelet was excellent ! Good prices.
Tip: do not park under the big car mural on the restaurant wall, that parking is for the auto parts store there.

I love this place. The atmosphere is awesome. The wait staff is so friendly and the food is amazing. It won't break your wallet either. I recommend the finger lickin chicken sandwich. We try and go every Saturday. Best place in town in my opinion.

Just a couple of blocks from the train station is this gem!! Awesome breakfast food... I had an amazing "Build Your Own" Omelet!! Quality ingredients and flexibility for those of us on a special diet!! Hoping to go back for lunch or Dinner sometime!!
