Damariscotta Veterinary Clinic is a great place to take your pet for care. My dog is not afraid when we are there because all employees are gentle with her.

Dr. Welch has been our vet for 19 years ~ Our 5 beloved dogs during these years have been well cared for and loved in this practice. Not only is Dr Welch kind and compassionate and experienced, her office staff and vet techs are wonderful to deal with.

I have been bringing my pets to Damariscotta Veterinary Clinic for over 30 years and have not had a bad experience due to clinic. (I did have a difficult cat.) The doctor is gentle and caring and has brought my pets through difficult times, even to the point of consulting a veterinary school about an unusual problem. The staff is warm, welcoming and efficient. They have my gratitude and my trust.

My recent experience at Damariscotta Veterinary clinic was no different than the many previous visits.
Always we are met with warm greetings and familiar smiles. This place feels like home to me, though a home where one receives the most up to date care,professionalism, and a very direct connection with each of my pets being treated, and examined as need be.

Our cat and dog have both been patients here. Very kind, knowledgeable staff and Dr. Welch is gentle with our pets (and kids, as they usually come to appointments!) and has a great sense of humor. We're given all options and education for testing and vaccinations, not pushed into doing anything we don't want to do. When our beloved cat recently passed away, we received a lovely card signed by all the staff. We were touched, and definitely our dog and future pets will continue to go here for veterinary care.

I've used the Damariscotta Veterinary Clinic for many years. Just last week I was there with my cat for a wellness check. I was well received, waited only a couple of minutes, and had good conversations with the veterinary assistant and the vet. The cat loved both people, and they were very kind and affectionate toward him.

We had just moved to the area, when our little dog had a seizure and I needed to find veterinary help for her quickly. I could not have been more pleased with the care she received. Dr. Welch was very thorough and did an excellent job of diagnosing her issue and treating her. She and her staff were also good at communicating with us, and at interacting with our dog. The staff in the front office were very pleasant and helpful as well. I would highly recommend the Damariscotta Veterinary Clinic.

Dr. Christine Welch and her staff are outstanding, loving, and tremendous care givers for our four-legged family members! Compassionate and professional! The staff at DVC were a great help to my kitty who needed teeth pulled and they made sure I knew what to expect and how to help her get well again! Their prices were reasonable, especially considering the level of care we received there.

Christine and her staff have been the most kind and informed folks I’ve ever dealt with when my kitties have needed help . Christine is patient, gentle, direct and honest . The wonderful ladies in the office are compassionate and knowledgeable. My cats are never traumatized. I make the drive from Boothbay for the caring and kindness these ladies show my pets.
