Lake Bluff Metra Station

This is the perfect Metra stop. It has a warm waiting area or you can easily wait until the last minute from your car. It is also much safer when returning from downtown when compared to the Great Lakes station as there is a cross walk on the track. Very easy access and our favorite community within walking distance.

Appreciate the convenience of the express trains from the Lake Bluff Metra station that get me to work in less than an hour, while I work on my laptop, read, or watch the world go by. Residents of Lake Bluff (with window sticker) can park for free in the lot behind the station (near Forest Bluff Montessori) or pay $3.37 (or it could be $3.67) to park in the front lot closest to the tracks and station.

I like the fact that in the winter they keep the building open so you can wait inside for the train.
