I can't wait for Kim Blickenstaffs group to develop this area. Lots of people excited to see new attractions coming to Peoria Heights.

Pretty spot on the river. Would've been cool to see it back in the day with the big Ferris Wheel & Roller Coaster.

This is just an empty lot along the river now, but evidently it used to have a ferris wheel and other attractions, and you could access it from the top of the bluff on Grand View Drive via a tram or something. These days it looks like it would probably be a fairly good fishing spot - never eat anything that comes out of the Illinois though, lol.

As a very young child I remember some this about Al Fresco.. They had a Ferris wheel other rides for kids.Food ..then it caught fire 🔥..Then Army Corps of engineers did something to screw up the Ill. River..then the Park Flooded.. That was the end of the park..sad..I know there was some plans to maybe rebuild it..But now with the virus..I don.t. think I.ll live long enough to see it restored..Maybe some day
