The Tiller Restaurant

We went to the Tiller Room at the Cliff House for my mom’s and uncle’s birthday dinner! We had such a lovely experience. We started in the lounge with drinks and appetizers while watching live music by the fire and then migrated into the dining room. The wait staff was accommodating as we had some younger kids with us! Overall, we had such a lovely night! Hopefully, we will go back soon for another great dinner!

I had the loveliest Mothers Day brunch here, we had a cliff ocean view. The Creme Brulee french toast. Chris LeBlanc our server was exceptional & kind enough to mention my first Mothers Day at the Cliff House in 2013!! Highly recommended The Cliff House Resort

We stayed at the Cliff House for four nights in mid September 2023 and ate both breakfast and dinner here several times.

The views are breathtaking if you get a table by the window, but even if you don't the restaurant has a very nice upscale ambience. No, this is not inexpensive, but the food and service are first rate, plus the chef was very accommodating to my wife's food allergies and prepared a specially made dinner for her more than once.

All the food was delicious, fresh, and nicely presented. Portion sizes were very good. Prices were on par for other upscale restaurants we have gone to.

We have vacationed in this area for years and have dined at many other restaurants. For fine dining this is definitely one of the better places.

The food here is incredible. From the chicken sandwich that my wife called "the best she ever ate" to the amazing lobster poutine that's worth the visit alone, this place is tops. Also the ambiance, service and drink selection is fantastic. Always be skeptical of the rare two and one star reviews when the rest are 5s. We've all met those kind of people.

Food and service as good as the view. We picked a Sunday afternoon to visit the Cliff House and dine at the Tiller. We knew nothing of the restaurant but wanted the spectacular views of the Cliff house. The restaurant was no disappointment. The bartender was friendly and made terrific drinks. Our table was right at the windows (there really are no bad seats in the house) with fantastic views. The server was prompt, friendly and efficient. The menu and food were the best part. How many times have you gone to a restaurant and wanted just about everything on the menu? This was a first for us and we never made it past the appetizers. We split 3 apps, all terrific. The Chef's Board was a work of art and well portioned with fruits, nuts, cheeses and breads. We had the Farmer's Board along with it and the truffle fries. All amazing. Portions were good, prices reasonable. Unfortunately, we couldn't make it to the main courses so we're going to have to go back again.

Amazing place. The atmosphere and service was just perfect! The pork chop was nice and juicy with a great flavor and well complimenting sides. The chicken was perfect too. Our favorite was the desserts though, we had the sticky cake and pana cota (which was amaziiiing) at the actual restaurant and the chocolate torte (which was also amazing) as room service another night.
While it is a little on the pricier side, it's well worth it for the quality of food, atmosphere and service!

Steer the family into the TILLER for a lobster. The service is great, the food ocean fresh and the wine selection good… never fear mate it is a perfect evening out!

There are a lot of reviews talking about the not great food. The Tiller apparently revamped their menu recently and took everyones feedback. We got the cod and the steak and they were truly amazing. Cocktail and wine list is extensive! We sat on the terrace so it did get incredibly buggy as the sun set, but otherwise a wonderful experience

Thanks to Sheldon for the amazing service at brunch today. The food was delish and I was so happy to see so many healthy options in the menu. The host (a gentleman) was also lovely. Worth the trip. We’ll be back.

Erica was an amazing server. Food was spot on! Just delicious. The English muffins were crazy good as was the blueberry pancakes. Views just can’t be beat.

SO GOOD! I got catch of the day which was halibut and my husband got the hanger steak. Amazing flavors. We also got dessert and we were both dancing in our seats while eating. Highly recommend.

Chris made our experience worthy and will definitely come back .

AMAZING SERVICE

Was surprised with such a beautiful birthday brunch here. Upscale design with a laid back feel. Great scenic views from the dinning area. The meal was fresh and tasted superb! I strongly recommend the lobster chowder! After eating, take a little stroll around the resort. Very quaint. This resort has so much to offer!

Great food with beautiful view. Stayed at The Cliff House and had breakfast and two dinners at The Tiller Restaurant. The gentleman who waited on us both nights for dinner was great and made the meal even more pleasurable. Food and drinks had great flavor and we would eat there again if we are in the area.

The food was sooo good! The best mussels I've had in a long time! The lobster melted in your mouth. The service was quick and the people were very friendly!
