Everybody there is passionate about wildlife, the natural world, etc. The events they schedule for the public are designed to teach this attitude through solid education and immersive experience. I wish I had more time and better health to participate more.

The Harris Center was in a nice location and well directed from the main roads. The hikes were clear on maps available. We went on a Sunday so the office was closed but you could still access the maps and other informational handouts in the foyer. We went in early October which was great weather, foliage, and mushroom season! I would definitely recommend the Harris Center to an avid hiker or explorer. There seemed to be a great emphasis on educating the community and youth on nature and what our woods of NH has to offer!

Beautiful spot with well marked trails and loads of glacial eratics, boulders. Not easy walking trails but great hiking with my pooch on Easter with not another soul in sight

Everyone knows how I feel about this place. I blog about their trails mikicc.org, and have learned a lot from attending guided hikes and classes with their amazing staff. Please consider donating to the Harris Center.

Great hike! Barely any incline and a relatively smooth trail with few roots and rocks. Two great summits Mt Thumb and Mt Skatutakee. A very nice loop with interesting carvings alongside the trail here and there. A little over 5 miles rt

I came for the trails and was not disappointed. Very well kept and some nice small mountains to boot. Early in the trail there are some really nice carvings in the trees that had fallen but have been cut.

We climbed Mt Katutakee on 8/6/15 from the Harris Center on the Harriskat Trail. The trail markers were a huge help and made it impossible to get lost. We had a great experience and will defintely be back!! Thanks to all that made our experience such a success!!
