love this place, always have a good time, good music, good drinks, and great atmosphere, the patio is fun and I like that it’s enclosed, i will say the service is super hit or Miss, half of the bartenders are great, attentive and friendly, but the other half honestly kind of suck at their job, they can be on the rude and disinterested side which is crazy bc as a fellow industry worker, you know that just kills your tips, but i don’t want that to affect my score, I love this place but again, a couple of the ppl behind the bar could take some tips from the other half!

3rd street is a great bar in midtown Detroit. It is large and has outdoor and indoor spaces to mix and mingle. It is a good spot for a large group. Also the drinks are reasonably priced

Came in on a Sunday at 3 for Street Beats. Though we were the only Black people, the atmosphere was super chill. They played 2000s hip hop the whole time. It’s also a great space for large groups. Spacious bar with games and you can request music via the app. Can’t wait to visit again in the summer!

It's a special place to me. The lawn is a great place in the summer to sit and talk. You can also pay and play your favorite song inside. I love their cocktails.

This is my go to recommendation for people who have never been to a bar in midtown. It is large, clean, hip, and has a crowd you want to be around. The outdoor seating is great in the summer and the games and fireplace are great in the winter. All around great place. You will find me there often.

I love Tuesdays here! Awesome karaoke with a great crowd. Drinks are cheap and aren't bad at all. Very cool bartender. Great pies from Dangerously Delicious Pies. Check it out! More than worth the trip.

My favorite bar in Midtown. Bartenders are great, drinks are pretty cheap. They have a patio where you can smoke and enjoy your beverage, and they even serve food now. They have karaoke every Tuesday night too, which is a big draw. Brent and Jen are two of the best bartenders I have met.

Wow. Can't believe I don't have a picture from here my son lives close by. Love this place. Shuffleboard is old school bar game I dig it. Staff is super friendly even when I've had a couple too many period to break that rhyme. Detroit is on the up love this place food is awesome people are better and that is the food from the slider joint attached to it. Wish I can remember the name of the slider joint but buzz on always.

Laid back type of place. Bartenders are fast and know how to make a drink. This place isn't pretentious, it's just a bar. You want to have a drink with some friends with some good music playing while sitting on the patio? Come here. You want have a drink by yourself? Come here. No matter your mood, come here.

Great food and drinks, maybe a little overpriced but the outdoor space is so cool I don't mind spending a little more. Fun atmosphere and nice staff. My new quarantine go-to, and I'll probably keep going after covid too :)

Awesome sliders, I had a jerk chicken slider and fries. My friend had the fried chicken. Both were awesome. Drinks were good, kinda on the strong side (but who would complain about that). Fun games. Would definitely go again.

Really fun, local bad. 3rd Street has great mixed drinks, beer selection, and of course pies! Their outdoor patio area features a series of picnic tables ending in an outdoor game section. Great place to spend late summer night.

It's an old spacious building with sensible updates I particularly enjoy. The atmosphere and culture is definitely college, but you're going to have to pony up some cash, possibly your parent's or some freed up by student loans... Lol.
3 lebatt bottles and two Hop Waters set us back 30 dollars somehow, and they ran the card they held for the tab, when we tried to pay with cash.
There's a quieter space in the back with dining tables and a 2nd bar you can actually take a phone call in, despite the main area being too loud for a phone call. They serve food.
They have the 5 gallon water jug with disposable cups to satisfy water requirements nicely.
Overall great if semi-affluent young drunk people your scene, but pay as you go if you want to pay with cash.

They just started serving brunch on the weekends and it was amazing, I'll be back! I ordered the french toast, which was great. My boyfriend got the biscuits and gravy which were shaped like batman!

They also have a few specialties such as their french toast sandwich (AMAZING), homemade pop tart, and the fact that they put a pizza roll in your bloody mary!

The ceiling leaks and it's either cold or hot, BUT it is all a part of the atmosphere. We come here only for the delicious Street Beet offerings and will keep coming again and again and again. The beautiful long tables in back are a bonus.

I don't live in Detroit anymore, but whenever I come here it feels like home. I hate when reviews talk about issues with karaoke, because nobody should admit that they participate in karaoke.
This bar is great for hanging out with buddies, guys, and friends. It's also the official Patriots bar of Detroit (if you're into that kind of thing). It also has Jen, who is the best bartender at the establishment.

I'm just responding to the comment by Elisa Gautam. I was there that night. A group all came in, obviously in the same party, kept ordering the cheapest drinks, one drink at a time, and were not tipping on them. One person was calmly isolated out by a bartender on that, and he lied and said he wasnt part of the group (even when coming and leaving with them) and instead of just taking the easy way out, he tried to blow up about it. Learn to take an L, dude, and teach friends how the service industry works. Name search me, I was the guy sitting there and not anyone that works there. Even worse that you passively aggressively use the Internet for that, too.

Love this place. Great atmosphere. They have shuffle board which I love and ski ball. The decor is rustic and they have a nice outside seating area which is good for live music
