Doster Country Store

Well I don't know how business is now at doster country store but I can tell you as a kid back in the 80's and 90's it was good I used to get gas there and I remember the old pumps were at the corner of the store with the dial style numbers that turned over and a standard oil sign above the pumps jack was always friendly we always bought pizza there from time to time but we moved away back in 2001 out of state and haven't seen Michigan since I also remember the tanning salon in the basement life was good back then but I'm glad to see the store is still there and open for business thank you doster store for being there for me and my family growing up.

This is right down the road from us and so convenient! Great for a quick beer, wine, or cider stop. They also have tasty Mooville ice cream, chocolate and candies, basic groceries, pizza and a deli, and most general items you might want or need. There are usually pretty young guys or girls working there, they are helpful and get the job done. Overall, a cute general store style shop that probably has what you need at a pretty reasonable price!

This place is very clean and every single staff member is very friendly. If you haven’t tried their sandwich meat…. You should! I will never buy lunch meat from meijer again. They always have extra treats in the fridge… today I had the pasta salad and it was by far the best flavored pasta salad. Highly recommend their pizza too. This little country store has everything you need!

The real star here is the pizza. Best of all, around noon, there will be individual slices in the hot box, and pretty girls behind the counter will bring them to you

Best Pizza Around!! and when they say 45 minutes to an hour for Delivery it only like 25 to 30 minutes

WOW WHAT A TREAT TO FIND!!!!! 😍 Amazing hot subs!!! Stopped by chance on our way home from golfing and WE WILL ALL BE GOING OUT OF OUR WAY FOR THEM IN THE FUTURE💞 nice drink variety, excellent ice cream, and great customer service! The people in the kitchen work great together and the quality of their craftsmanship is photo ready AND DELICIOUS! Unfortunatly, I couldn't take a photo... I was busy double-handing my Hot BLT with Ham😅 Thanks for being such an unique find!

This place has the best pizza around! I am dead serious -- order a pickle pizza with ranch dressing sauce and it is PHENOMENAL. They also have a good selection of beers and other convenience store items.

Great Pizza! Try the BBQ chicken pizza! Or another great option is the Doster Special. They make a great Cauliflower crust pizza! Nice variety of Ice Cream locally created. They also have some nice wine selections.

I was recommended the pizza here, which was good. On the way out of the store a young employee carrying a load stopped and pulled open the door for me. I was really surprised this teenage boy pulls open a door for an able bodied customer while carrying a load. Unheard of, great job.

I remember when Jack bought the place. Within a month or two, they were cranking out the best pizzas in Michigan! Our home was right down the road at Lake Doster, so the pizza and subs became addictive.

I always vote Doster Store pizza #1 in Michigan. We ALWAYS pick up a pizza on our occasional trips back to the Zoo area.

I can remember walking to Doster country store as a child. To spend my allowance on candy 🍭. That was 50 years ago, it may have changed hands over time, but it has kept it's charm.
Just like the sign says, "if we don't have it, you don't need it!", don't change a thing guys!

Pizza can save lives. I mean, if you were starving and someone handed you a pizza . . . well, there you go. You could do a lot worse than a Doster Store pizza, that's for sure. Get one of those desert bars from the case there too. Don't forget the beer. Hell, Doster Store just did better than save your life, they gave you a reason to be alive, pal.

I look forward to stopping in here for a coffee and breakfast, such a great place in the middle of the country. Everyone is so friendly and sometimes even their gas is cheaper than in town. Grateful to have a local stop like this :)

Some of the best food around!!

Great little country lakeside store in in between Pine Lake and Lake Doster. Friendly staff, excellent pizza, nice soda fountain with ice cream and fresh popped popcorn. Open until 10:00 pm

Love Doster store. Great little corner store on the way home. They have a little bit of everything. Great pizza and subs. Employees are always nice, respectful, and welcoming. I stop in every chance I get.
