Lakeshore Restaurant

Long work week, so took a drive this evening to clear some headspace. Found myself in Dexter and near the lake… much to my surprise, Lakeshore was open…..their first day of the season! The service, the food and the value friendly pricing all made for a positive experience…..no Opening day glitches here…..thank you!

This is an small restaurant but with best red hot dog, lobster rolls and a lake view, you can dine in or you can take out placing an order through the windows in the front-building. Our waiter was so helpful on recommending some local food as (Maine, red hot dog).For dessert we got ice cream, I recommend the Maine wild blueberry made with local blueberries it is absolutely delicious.

Great lobster roll. Great waitress. She was very pleasant and attentive.

This place has some of the best seafood and to be able to eat by the lake is much more enjoyable. There usually are alot of people but it's because they are that good with a wide variety in the menu.

Great stop! Food was a typical grill style. Great variety. Lots of ice cream options too.

Love sitting outside by the lake. The young workers are so pleasant and accommodating.
The food is good for what it is, after all it is not a fancy restaurant.

Lovely little place. The food was really good. Fresh with good presentation. Loved the nautical decor. The outside area is private, quiet, just like a cute little beach table with unbrellas

It's decent for what it is. The ice cream window is what we do occasionally. The ice creams are quite large (even a small) . The banana boats(split) is heavy. We like the view of the lake and the kids have fun on the little playground. I think that they even have a free public shower available for campers or travelers. So if you are hungry and dirty stop in.

I ordered steak quesadillas and jalapeno poppers. They have the best jalapeno poppers you have ever had instead of the fixed skin. They grind up the jalapenos and mix them with cheese and then deep fry them. Oh oh oh the best.

Seriously? Best pizza in the area. Great I've cream too. Classic New England snack shack feel.

Good food, friendly staff and decent prices! I hit this place up during the season everytime I'm at lake Wasokaeg, delicious! Wide variety of dishes!

Nice folks. Good food. Lovely in the summer. Good view over the water. You can get dine in. Just go inside.

Always a great time. Food is delicious and the staff are friendly. Feel like you're home eating at home.

Just enjoyed a wonderful supper at this restaurant. My haddock was very good and my wife’s lobster roll was delicious. All finished off with delicious ice cream.

Went back-to-back for their banana splits. Awesome.

Enjoy grabbing some food and taking a stroll by the water or just sitting and eating this is the spot... is so peaceful and lovely. So much good food for the right prices.. they even let you double order when you get the pick 2 or 4..

Decent prices, good food. Probably around a 25 minute wait time depending on how busy they are.

Our entire family loves this place!! Sooooo many great items and we love the ice cream! So happy to have it in our home town. I love the ice cream, BEST CALZONE EVER! a must try!! I love their chowders, pizzas, huge portions of fish, their ribs were actually amazing, the fries, soft pretzels, salads especially Cobb and taco bowl! Burgers, buffalo wings! Everything. I honestly have tried most items and have literally loved it all! Don't forget your banana split or amazing sundae with incredible Ice cream after! Love that you can eat in, take out or sit on the many many picnic benches on the water, some under roofs and some under the warm sun.. With a play ground & swimming for the kids enjoyment!

It was small, nice and cozy! My son took me to have a Father's Day meal! The meal was great and we had ice cream for dessert!
