If you are looking for a great "fine dining" experience, this is it! Farm to table and the menu changes. Every piece of food on my plate was exquisite! The menu pairs delicious wines with each menu item! The staff were all amazing! I will definitely be back.

10/6 Friday
Amazing delicious chef created dishes, service from Paul was absolutely unbeatably good. The fried catfish and panfried trout was just freaking delicious, presentation was perfect . Great find for us . First post Covid restaurant dining experience where I felt it was worth every penny we spent here.
Thank you to chef and Paul

10/13 Friday
2nd time dinner at Bellflower… was as impressive as last weeks experience. Delicious appetizer of bread meat cheese and vegetables presented beautifully.

The panfried perch was impeccable.
The pork was great. Rice was delicious. Sides were tweaked to our request .
The cocktails were so well made that even by husband who never has anything good to say about expensive restaurant cocktails had 2 of them.
Server Ken was knowledgeable attentive and full of positive energy .
This is the best restaurant find in the entire metro Detroit area, fine dining … delicious real food ….served with style and flare!

This is one of the best restaurants in the Detroit area. It's expensive, but well worth it. I have been several times, this weekend was their 3rd anniversary so they had an all you can eat BBQ event.. it was unreal, as usual. I'm not going to review every item, it was all insanely delicious. The desert was a berry infused whipped cream with what appeared to be corn bread which isn't usually what I'd go for but it was mind blowing. Service here is always the best, everyone is very friendly, and the food is art. Just go.

This restaurant is my favorite hidden gem. I tell anyone who will listen to eat here, because I believe it is worth the hype and will give anyone who tries it a great experience. I have frequented Bellflower over the last few months, and every time I get dinner here the service & food is high quality and exceptional. The daily menu changes, seasonal ingredients, and friendly staff will always want you coming back for more. Bellflower has taken classic dishes and comfort food to a whole new level, and every dish I've had has made me feel love after first bite. The cocktails & bartenders are also amazing, and their drink pairings with meals are always a go-to if you are unsure of what to get. Drinks, fish, curries, pasta, holiday foods, brunch, you name it, all deserve a 5 star review from here. Can't wait to go back again!

My favorite restaurant. The rotating menu is fun, and there are always options to suit everyone's tastes.

Service is always amazing, I've sat at both the bar and the regular tables and have enjoyed the atmosphere of both.

The drinks are always fantastic- from the cocktail menu to the wine pairings with meals to any featured items.
Every meal has been great. The standouts to me are the pasta or curry dishes.

Truly a wonderful experience every time I come here.

Bellflower is the best restaurant in Ypsilanti. I've eaten here over 10 times. I'm not an oyster person, but I order them when I eat here - they are SO divine. They have a great and varied wine list, unique dishes with fun titles each week. The quality, flavor, and service are excellent! Thank you, Bellflower team! We needed a restaurant at your level in Ypsi!

I have visited Bellflower for dinner service multiple times. I was able to make it to brunch (finally). I'm upset I hadn't come to brunch service sooner! Every time I eat here, it feels like a hug from my favorite aunt or friend I haven't seen in a while. The kind of hug that you hold for a bit that could bring tears. This is what Bellflower feels like. I'm always amazed at the menu selections during dinner. Well, brunch is a hit too. My appetite is always fulfilled, and my taste buds are always stretched because the meals are different and simply constructed as art on a plate. I had the breakfast gumbo with cornbread. I didn't know I would love over easy eggs in a gumbo with shrimp, sausage, and just an array of delicious fresh ingredients. I'm happy that brunch is being served now. Let me also add that the mimosas are mimosa'n, if you know what I mean! The perfect way to end your weekend.

Drinks here are good and are fairly priced. Our server was awesome and was pretty knowledgeable of the food and drinks and had great recommendations. The food menu is pretty interesting. It was a little pricey but it tasted good. I just wished the food came on bigger plates as it was difficult to eat off a small stacked plate without leaving a mess.

Everything about this place is wonderful. I was aghast at how delicious the food was. We had a tapas brunch of a potato and vegetable hash, breakfast chickpeas, dressed greens, cantaloupe, bread pudding, eggs and toast. Even my picky teen was happy.

The cocktails were unique and delicious and my meal was excellent! I got the pork chops and grits and it was perfectly crispy. We sat at the bar and the chairs were comfortable and service was friendly and consistent. Must go back as it looks like the menu changes frequently!

We went to the Bellflower today with our beloved friends and had a great meal. The cocktails in particular were very flavorsome and original. The tequila in the Maynard was not too overwhelming, but blended well with the other ingredients and the spiced rim. I also truly enjoyed the taste of honey and lavender in the Ypsi Local Honey cocktail, which was not too sweet. Regarding the food, I thought the pork chops were delicious and perfectly seasoned, and the portion was so generous! My friend commented that the meatballs were also very scrumptious.

As someone who enjoys dining out, I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Bellflower, a culinary gem that left a lasting impression. From the moment I stepped inside, the warm and inviting ambiance set the stage for an exceptional dining experience.

To kick off the evening, I decided to try their signature cocktail, the Momento Mora. This exquisite concoction was a perfect blend of flavors, expertly crafted with a delicate balance of Mezcal and fresh ingredients. It tantalized my taste buds and set the tone for the culinary journey ahead.

Accompanying the cocktail was a side of milk bread, which was made in-house. The bread arrived fresh with a soft and pillowy texture that melted in my mouth. It was truly a delightful start to the meal, showcasing the restaurant’s dedication to quality and attention to detail.

For the main course, I opted for the cornmeal trout with local greens. The trout was flawlessly cooked, offering a delicate and flaky texture that was enhanced by the subtle crunch of the cornmeal coating. The dish showcased the freshness of the locally sourced greens, providing a vibrant and well-rounded flavor profile. Each bite was a harmonious symphony of tastes that showcased the chef’s expertise.

To complement the trout, I opted for the suggested glass of Enmity Chardonnay. This wine proved to be a remarkable choice, with its crisp acidity and subtle oak undertones. It effortlessly elevated the flavors of the trout, creating a delightful marriage of food and drink.

Throughout the evening, the service from Kalynn at The Bellflower was impeccable. The attentive and knowledgeable staff were always on hand to provide recommendations and answer any questions. Their passion for culinary excellence and commitment to exceptional service was evident in every interaction, enhancing the overall dining experience.

In conclusion, The Bellflower is a restaurant that truly stands out from the crowd. From the meticulously crafted cocktails to the delectable dishes, every element of the dining experience was thoughtfully curated. With its warm ambiance, exceptional service, and a menu that celebrates local ingredients, The Bellflower is a culinary destination that should not be missed. I wholeheartedly recommend it to any discerning food lover seeking a memorable dining experience.

Found this place by chance and what a lucky find. Great indoor seating area and decor. Lots of light coming through large windows. The menu was quite abit seafood and sandwiches. My sandwich was the fried cod, very tasty. Unfortunately I didn't take any photos, my hunger got the best of me. I imagine though, during this would be busy with locals. Someone will definitely snap a great picture then hopefully.

You never know what you're going to get, but you can rest assured it's always going to be delicious - and for those that imbibe, there's an excellent wine/pairing menu.

Put differently- this isn't one of those places where you get a 5 page menu, double-sided, and you spend 10 minutes to see about a third of it looks decent. This is a place where the menu easily fits on one page, single-sided, and you spend 10 minutes arguing with yourself about how many different dishes you're going to buy because it all looks great.

Some say it's expensive - but I'd say that the prices are spot-on for what it the place is: 3-star food at 2-star prices with a menu that reminds of a 'Top Chef' series, during episodes when contestants are given free reign.

Treat yourself. Check it out. You'll be back. You're welcome in advance.

This place is great! The second you walk in and smell the kitchen, you know it’s gonna be great! We shared the pimento cheese, pears and blue cheese, and peel n eat shrimp which were all excellent. I always love shrimp gumbo so I couldn’t resist that even though I think the shrimp were same ones from the appetizer. I liked the addition of clams to this dish. Still delicious. The accompanying potato salad instead of rice was slightly odd. Friends ate the collard greens which was in the style of paneer palak and that was tasty. They also had pork shoulder with bread pudding, which we all ended up eating as dessert. Red beans and rice was tasty! Apparently made with coconut milk, yum! I especially liked the negroni specials! I liked sitting g outside because I have a feeling we would smell like food inside. Very nice servers.

Wow, my wife and I were blown away by this restaurant. We met some friends at this restaurant on their recommendation. We were skeptical as we entered as the restaurant isn't located in the best part town and upon entering it looked like a diner. We were taken to the back room which was better, but still gave off some diner vibes instead of fine dining.

The four of us started by sharing a huge salad. I believe it was bib lettuce and it was so fresh it tasted straight out of the garden. The lettuce was topped with apples, parmesan and blue cheese in a very flavorful vinaigrette. We both had the seafood stew that had the most amazing flavor and was loaded with calms and a few shrimp. We finished with bread pudding that the four of us again shared. It very large and also delicious. We will be back!

Fancy, high end, delicious and amazing. You get more than you pay for. This place is a hidden gem.

If you happen to be home during the day, their sandwiches are amazing. The bread is out of this world and the contents are each are pure perfection.

Date nights this is the place you should go. It rivals the top places in Ann Arbor and in my opinion exceeds all of them, not that its a competition. This is one of those places where you take a bite and you realize you're eating someplace before it blows up and becomes totally inaccessible for months.

This is my absolute favorite classier dining spot in Ypsilanti. Love that the menu changes and that there’s always something new to try that you likely haven’t experienced. The salads are always unique. Love the ypsi honey drink. Amazing mock tails. Oddly obsessed with the rice and beans. I love this place and will continue to update photos because the food is too pretty! Great value and experience for your money you will not be disappointed.

Update: tried lunch and it was equally as tasty. Large hearty sandwiches great value and soooo good!

Absolutely stunning dinner and drinks. The main dishes my husband and I ordered both were so thoughtfully created. Very fresh ingredients and the flavors were all perfectly made for each other! Also, the Pineapple Dandy mocktail was beautiful and refreshing. Had a lovely time. Will certainly be back.
