This is among the great dive bars in metro Detroit. It’s friendly, cheap and welcoming to all. Newbies get a shot of Jezy, which is some polish liquor. It’s pretty tasty. They have a great patio out back. People usually pick excellent tunes on The jukebox. Overall, highly recommend!

Hands down, my absolute FAVORITE BAR in the Detroit Metro area. August the bartender is one of the coolest people you'll ever have the pleasure of meeting and knows how to pour a damn good drink. Be sure to ask August for a shot of Fernet and he'll tell you "It's like 1000 fairies dancing on your tongue!".

Classic neighborhood spot with cheap drinks and fun conversations. The bartenders are all very sweet, especially on Sunday and Monday :)

Katie is the best!! nice chill place to watch the hockey game and just hang with a friend. Go early to get a seat at the bar.

This hidden gem was the icing on our cake! First visit to Detroit as Canadians, and stateside since Covid and boy it was a perfect area for us to pick for our one night stay! Mike our bartender was the best and we had the pleasure of meeting the owner and her fiance who helped us out in a jam. (Thank you again for the ride!) While it's home to a great bunch of locals, they sure made us feel extremely welcomed! Cheers folks, we will be back!

Had fun here, they have no food but Amicci's Pizza will walk your food over to the bar and give you a discount too. Bartender is very friendly and attentive. Would come back fasho.

The staff are friendly and they have cleaned a lot. A wonderful Hammtramck institution.

Hands down the best little dive bar in town. Fun atmosphere with friendly bartenders and locals. I also really appreciate how serious they are about wearing masks and encouraging social distancing in the time of corona. Highly recommend.

The most fun I've had at a bar just BS'ing with the regulars and bartender. Everyone seems cool, the place is adorably run down, and the refrigeration unit still works, so boom. Bar.

I think the last time I was there, there was a video of non-fatal catastrophes playing on the bar TV. It made for some of the most entertaining bar conversations I've ever had with fellow patrons. One of those conversations had me learning about why you should not try downhill skiing as a hobby if you are not reasonably fit. After hearing that story, I concur. I'll give you a hint: 300lb man + "the splits" = hospital.

This is the platonic ideal of dive bars. There's a juke box, pool table, darts; the drinks are cheap and the bartenders are friendly.

They've reopened, and their back patio provides for plenty of space to socially distance and have a drink. Best of all, they're very serious about masks, which I very much appreciate.

Great Kuhnhenn tap takeover event last weekend! They always amaze me what creative cool things they come up with for special events. The place looks like my Grandpa's basement when i a kid LOL, but this never fails to entertain

Quaint little neighborhood bar with a great atmosphere. Packed with memorabilia, patio area, pool table and plenty of lively conversation, it's a great place to go for an evening.
