New Dodge Lounge

Everything about this place is great. They are very accepting and accommodate able here. I recommend this place to people wanting to host parties and first dates. The music can be heard but is not too loud that you can't talk to the person in front of you. They have live band, open mic, tea parties and a few arcade games. You will have to park on the street or in a near by parking lot. Also it is wheelchair accessible however you will only have access to the bottom floor. Not to worry though everything you need is all downstairs.

What an amazing place. The drinks were priced right. But the best part was the music. The New Dodge Lounge is "your neighborhood bar for live music, great entertainment and cold drinks." And boy is it. They have live music on the weekends. Songstress jo was amazing as always. She and her band, did an inspiring set. One of her best songs was "FYK". She got the crowd involved. Songstress jo fed off their energy and the crowd fed off of her energy. It was fantastic. It took me almost two hours to get there, but it was well worth it. I will be back for sure.

Amazing place, totally transformed from the old dodge lounge to the new. The atmosphere is comfortable, the live music is rocking, and the drinks are well priced. It was my first time here since the new ownership and I am impressed. I will be returning for more live music events!

Came out to here with the new owners and had an amazing time there! Seeing the draft beer selection and having options I haven’t seen anywhere else was so great to have.

The sound for the live music was top notch too. The sound guy had the music mixed so well and it sounded great.

If you haven’t checked out the place or haven’t been there in a while, you definitely need to check it out! Such a nice atmosphere and had a great time and will be going back many many times!

Good place good bands and I'm not a small boy am a trustworthy worthy person and I will tell you something see in the 70s this place I believe used to be a five n dine and I had an onion on my belt cuz that was the fashion at the time and they'd say give you a nickel for a quarter but at the time there weren't many like arcades around in fact I think it was a little bit later that those things came around but I don't know because I wasn't even born then but this place is a gem!

Awesome atmosphere and great vibe. Cozy upstairs space and gaming room in the back.

Great venue the art in here is worth the stop in alone! Go hear some fantastic original music and feel the Hamtramck hip vibe!

Nicely updated way station for a good drink and good conversation. Probably needs a few years of wear to embellish it's "character", nice as it currently stands. Personally, I'd like to see more classic pinball machines in the game room.

I heard this place had new owners, but based on the old ones, I had low hopes. And boy was I surprised! This place is so cleaned up! It’s also got way more going on. Games, bands, a lot of space to sit around. Very impressed with what this place has turned into. This is the perfect place to grab a beer. Will be back!!!!

Went to see a show with new artists. It was a nice spot to chill.

***UPDATE 2022*** I changed the 2 star review to a 5 because this place has totally turned around. There are new owners who seem to care about the place. It was so clean in the bar area and bathroom and updated where necessary (no more tube tvs!) also, people were no longer smoking cigarettes in there like in 2020 when I was last there. The entire staff was very friendly and helpful as well.

(2020) Went to see a live band a few days ago here. They were absolutely not following state Coronavirus health protocols! Almost the entire audience wasn’t wearing a mask and there was no social distancing enforced. Also, I’m a fan of dive bars but this place is just downright dirty inside, like they don’t clean or dust anything it seemed. The only good thing here was the cheap drinks.

New ownership has completely restored this bar! It is so clean, and just looks refreshed. You can tell that they truly care about it, and care about the experience people have when they go. Loved it!

Nice place, good place to see bands

It's what I have missed from back in my touring youth. Pool table, snacks, burgers, a loft, and some really good music from really talented bands like "Module B" and Prison City Brigade. The prices are right, the beer is cold, the bathrooms are next-level clean, the staff is friendly (and hilarious), and they have a wide variety of acts performing there. I friggin love that place!!

New staff and sound system are great. Friendly, knowledgeable, and professional staff that take care of everything that is needed right away.

This is one of my all time favorites!!!! Just walking in you get the feel of the old days, and they ROCK on ST PATTY'S!!!!! This will be our 3 yr and I cannot wait!!!! Great weekend bands and awesome service. Must check out the floor in the bathroom!!!!!!!

Sound was good. Staff was friendly. Pretty rad little venue.
